Eradicating the Old Forces' Arrangements and Keeping Up With the Fa-Rectification's Progress
(Clearwisdom.net) I would like to talk about my understanding on the topic of eradicating the
old forces' arrangements. Teacher said in "Teaching the Fa at the 2002 Fa
Conference in Boston": "I've said that the old forces have made very
detailed, thorough, and systematic arrangements in history for the entire Fa-rectification
period and everything that manifests during the Fa-rectification." While we
are in the course of cultivation, how do we recognize the old forces? What are
the old forces and the old forces' arrangements? I think that the old forces are
not just those degenerated evil beings in other dimensions and at different
levels. In the dimension of our human society, the old forces exist in the form
of people's thoughts and concepts, as well as the selfishness
that all beings possess. This selfishness makes beings separate themselves from
the true universal Fa, and is the fundamental cause of them destroying
themselves in the end. The so-called arrangements by the old forces still lay on
the foundation of selfishness. It cannot help practitioners reach the standard
of "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance," but on the contrary, the
arrangement plays an evil role to interfere with Fa-rectification, destroy Dafa,
and persecute Dafa practitioners. During the course of Fa-rectification cultivation, we try constantly to get
rid of those ordinary human thoughts, concepts, and various attachments, which
are loopholes that the evil old forces utilize to interfere with us. During the
course of cultivating, and in the course of validating Dafa and clarifying the
truth, the various interferences from human mentalities result in cultivators
being unable to follow Dafa's requirements, being unable to clearly understand
the significance of Fa-study, and being unable to understand what the historical
mission and responsibility Fa-rectification period Dafa disciples have.
Consequentially, we are unable to reach the standard Dafa practitioners should
meet, nor are we able to keep up with the course of Fa-rectification. Teacher
said in "Teaching the Fa at the Washington, D.C. Fa Conference in
2002": "To do well is to not walk down the path arranged by the old forces;
the goal is to not allow the old forces to take advantage of your gaps." He also said: "Whatever happens, only by keeping up your Fa-study can you get rid of
your human thoughts, can you get rid of your attachments, and can you thus be
unaffected by any human things." I have understood that in order to truly be a Fa-rectification period Dafa
disciple, in cultivation, and in the course of validating the Fa and clarifying
the truth, we must study the Fa more, study the Fa well, and truly be able to
look at problems from the perspective of the Fa instead of human concepts. We
must truly walk out of the human society, not be entangled by human things, do
things according to Dafa's requirements to truly get rid of the old forces'
arrangements, and eradicate various attachments so that we can walk our own
paths righteously. Actually, when coming across any test, any tribulation, and anything else, we
cannot use human thoughts to evaluate it, because human feelings are
self-centered, and any attachment of fear stems from selfishness. All human
thoughts are intended to safeguard human selfishness and self-interest. So, in
the course of cultivation, we must do everything based on Dafa's requirements,
and truly be selfless, think of others before ourselves, and never disappoint
Teacher's kind-hearted salvation. Because levels are finite, please point out anything that is wrong so it can
