(Clearwisdom.net) Some fellow practitioners' articles often mentioned that when tribulations came, they would warn or try to persuade the old evil forces that they should no longer continue the persecution; otherwise when the Fa is rectified, they will come to a bad end, etc. Actually, this is holding onto unnecessary fantasies about them. Especially at the present time, if we continue acting like this--if we continue to have compassion for these unpardonably wicked beings, we might leave loopholes for them to exploit. "Poison is just poisonous, and if you want it to stop being poisonous it can't do that. So when you look at it that way, we shouldn't have any fantasies about the evil forces and those evil people who are persecuting Dafa." (Teaching the Fa at the 2002 Fa Conference in Philadelphia, U.S.A.)

When we warn or try to persuade the old forces, this is actually equal to acknowledging their existence, since we have allowed them to exist in our minds until the day the Fa rectifies the human world. If we have such thoughts, many evils in our bodies cannot be eradicated completely when we are sending forth righteous thoughts. We should be determined to send forth righteous thoughts to eliminate all the old evil forces and all the evil beings that pretend to be human so as to persecute Dafa practitioners directly in this world. Whether we do it well or not directly relates to the process of the Fa rectifying the human world, and also to our future and the future of other sentient beings.
