Dafa Practitioner Lin Jieping Tortured at the Lishi Women's Prison in Guangdong Province

(Clearwisdom.net) Dafa practitioner Lin Jieping, a woman in her forties, was a gynecologist who started to practice Dafa in 1996. After Jiang's regime began to persecute Falun Gong, she went to Beijing with some other practitioners to appeal. As a result, she was detained by the Jieyang City police in Guangdong Province, and she was fined 6,000 Yuan. The police later invalidated her city residence card, and sent her and her two children to a rural area where they led a hard life.

Lin Jieping firmly believes in Dafa and insists on practicing, despite the harsh environment. In May 2000, she participated in a group practice and was arrested and sent to a brainwashing class where she was held for over half a year. Since she refused to give in, the police illegally sentenced her to 3 years in prison. She has been jailed in Team Two of the Fourth Brigade in the Lishi Women's Prison in Shaoguan City, Guangdong Province for over 2 years.

While in detention, she remained steadfast and she refused to write a guarantee letter denouncing Dafa. The prison has been constantly intensifying the persecution of her. At present, Lin Jieping is forced to do hard labor with handcuffs on. In addition, the police force her to do physical work that only men can normally do. She has to work from early in the morning until late at night.

Lin Jieping does not have any personal freedom. Due to her severe torture, she is now in critical condition. The prison does not allow her family members to see her and they tightly blocks the news.

We hope that the kindhearted people of the world will pay attention to Lin Jieping's plight and help her regain her freedom so she can be reunited with her children.
