Five Dafa practitioners in Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province, were given illegal sentences ranging from 7 to 12 years.

China's second conference recognizing innovations and high-tech achievements opened in Shenzhen City on October 12, 2002. A number of young Dafa practitioners passed out over ten thousand Dafa truth clarification flyers along the major streets in Shenzhen City, and helped many deceived people learn the truth.

This November 8^th, the court of the Futian District in Shenzhen City illegally and heavily sentenced Dafa practitioners. Details of their sentences are as follows:

Zhou Lei, male, born on June 14, 1969, from Bai County of the Guangxi Province, used to be a marketing manager for the US based Microsoft Corporation (Shenzhen Branch). He was illegally sentenced to 12 years in jail.

Zhuan Wenshu, male, born on April 19, 1972. He is from Lianyungang City, Jiangsu Province with a Master's degree and is a former business manager of Meidi Real Estate Development Limited Corporation in Shenzhen City. He was illegally sentenced to 7 years.

Li Zhenmin, male, born on April 8, 1968, from the Huilai County of Guangdong Province, used to be an employee of the Shenhua Real Estate Management Company in Shenzhen City. He was illegally sentenced to 10 years.

Chao Hao, male, born on May 15, 1974, from Xunyang County in Shaanxi Province, was a former employee of the Organization office in the Xingtai Company. He was illegally sentenced to 10 years in jail.

Li Fulin, male, born on August 23, 1969, from Meizhou City, Guangdong Province, was illegally sentenced to 7 years in jail.

About 22 Dafa practitioners in Jilin City, Jilin Province were illegally sentenced to jail terms for as long as 13 years.

The Jilin City Police Department, the "610 Office" (an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems) and Security Bureau, have since this past February, adopted various means to fanatically arrest Falun Gong practitioners, like monitoring practitioners, surveiling them, recording their movements, etc. In a very short time, many truth clarification material stations were destroyed in Jilin City, and many Dafa practitioners were kidnapped, detained and put into labor camps.

On November 5, 2002, Chuanyinn District in Jilin City and Huadian City (a sub-region of Jilin City) even dared to hold an illegal trial, in order to sentence 22 Dafa practitioners.

Liu Wentao was sentenced to 13 years in jail and deprived of his political rights for 2 years. Liu Guixia, Wang Libo, Shao Ling, Xu Guijun, Ban huijuan, and Wang Xiuyun were all sentenced to 12 years in jail and deprived of their political rights for two years. Wang Jinghai, Zhu Xiuzhi, Tian Haibo, and Yu Guoqing were sentenced to 8 years in jail and deprived of their political rights for one year. Song Huidan, Guo Yuhua, Yu Wenyan, and Wang Xiaohu were sentenced to 7 years in jail and deprived of their political rights for one year. Chen Guanhong and Shi Chengbin were sentenced to 6 years in jail. Cui Wenhui, Pei Zhenyu and Yang Huixia were sentenced to 4 years in jail. Chen Congyu and Yu Cuifan were sentenced to three years in jail.
