A Rice Vendor Asks, "Why are You Different from Others, With Such A Kind Heart?"

1. A Dafa practitioner went to buy rice in the market with a few colleagues. The rice vendor was a man in his fifties. According to the local custom, rice vendors must deliver the rice to the buyer's home. How difficult would it be if this aging man had to carry those hundreds of pounds of rice upstairs. This Dafa practitioner voluntarily helped the man deliver the rice to his colleagues' homes. In the end, he also carried his own rice bag home.

After he was paid for the rice, the rice vendor did not leave immediately. He asked, "Why are you different from others, with such a kind heart?" The Dafa practitioner said, "I practice Falun Gong. Our Teacher teaches us to act according to the standard of Truth, Compassion, Forbearance." The rice vendor said, "You, a Falun Gong practitioner, are really a good man. Then tell me about the self-immolation, suicide, homicide of Falun Gong on TV- what were those all about?" The Dafa practitioner said, "Those are all lies made up by the government officials, all to mislead people. Do you see me as a murderer?" The elderly man said, "Oh, I think if you treat those of us so nicely even though you don't know us, how could you go out killing people? Our people are all being deceived. You are the best and most kind people in the world!"

2. An elderly man in his sixties somewhere in China had many illnesses. Some Dafa practitioners often put Dafa truth materials in his backyard. He collected them after reading them. He also picked up materials thrown away by others and took them home. He often showed these materials to friends and neighbors. Without realizing it his illnesses all disappeared. This story is being widely told in the village. Villagers all praise Dafa as being miraculous.
