1. [Shuangyashan, Heilongjiang] Falun Dafa Practitioner Song Decai Is Persecuted by the "610 Office" from Baoqing County

   Before the 16^th Congress, practitioner Song Decai from Xitaihe Village in the Qixinpao Township of Baoqing County went to Beijing on October 16 to verify that Falun Dafa is good. He displayed the banner "Truth-Compassion-Tolerance" on the eastern side of the Tiananmen Square Clock Tower and at the same time called out "Falun Dafa is good." His courageous and righteous voice effectively shook the evil.

   The Baoqing County "610 Office" [a bureau specifically created by the Chinese government to persecute Falun Gong. It has absolute power over each level of administration in the Party, as well as over the political and judiciary branches] was extremely shocked and unlawfully arrested Song Decai, brought him back from Beijing and detained him at the local detention Center. The members of the "610 Office" then went into each village within the Qixinpao Township and put practitioners under surveillance round the clock and conducted searches and interrogations. When any practitioner says that they are still practicing Falun Dafa, they are immediately arrested. At midnight on November 7, 2002, they arrested female practitioner Pu Mingxia from Yongan Village and Qi Yongkuan from Yihe Village. Many practitioners have been forced to leave their homes. We hope that practitioners who read this news will send righteous thoughts to help practitioners who are arrested to use their righteous thoughts to escape from the jails.

2. [Shuangyashan, Heilongjiang] Detention Center Doctor uses Force-Feeding as a Method to Torture Practitioners

   Doctor Xu from the Shuangyashan Detention Center often treats practitioners cruelly. He orders a group of criminal inmates to brutally force-feed practitioners who are on a hunger strike. Some practitioners asked to drink the liquid by themselves, however Dr Xu said, "Drinking is too slow." He pressed the practitioner down and started force-feeding them until the practitioner began coughing up blood. The suffering is unbearable. When a practitioner began vomiting from the force-feeding, Doctor Xu would not send that practitioner to a hospital, instead he dragged him out to be force-feed again.

3. [Beijing] Female Practitioner Zhao Huaichun Is Tortured at Tiantanghe Labor Camp (Xinan Female Labor Camp)

   Female practitioner Zhao Huaichun was arrested in August 2001 for pasting up truth clarification materials printed on self-adhesive stickers. She was unlawfully sentenced to one year in labor camp and is currently detained at the Tiantanghe Labor Camp (Xinan Female Labor Camp).

   Zhao Huaichun is steadfastly determined in her cultivation and as a result the labor camp forbid her family members to visit her. From August 2001 until now, for one year and three months, her family has not received any visitation rights and have not seen her.

4. [Shenyang, Liaoning Province] Female Practitioner Zhang Guangyuan from Anshan City Has Been Sentenced to Nine Years in Jail; She is Currently on a Hunger Strike at the Shenyang Dabei Jail and is in a Life-Threatening Situation

   Female practitioner Zhang Guangyuan was arrested at the beginning of this year at the Beichukou truth-clarifying material site. Later she was framed by the Linshan Police Station and sentenced to nine years in jail and is jailed at the Shenyang Dabei Jail. She is currently on a hunger strike in protest against the persecution and she is in a life-threatening situation.

   Female practitioner Wang Yinping from Liaoyang City and practitioner Li Hongjun from Benxi City are both jailed at the Shenyang Dabei Jail. Currently the jail has refused their families visitation rights and forbid their families to deliver everyday objects. When families delivered money, the jail refused to take it. No one knows how the practitioners' situations are.

   We are urgently calling upon kind-hearted and righteous people from all over the world to give their support. For practitioners who are reading this news, please send forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil in the other dimension within the Shenyang Dabei Jail to end the torture of Falun Dafa practitioners and at the same time help jailed practitioners to use their righteous thoughts to leave the jail.

5. [Chaoyang, Liaoning Province] Shuangta District Court Unlawfully Sentences Falun Dafa Practitioners

   The Shuangta District Court is preparing to sentence the six Falun Dafa practitioners unlawfully jailed at the Chaoyang Number One Detention Center within the next two weeks. We hope that practitioners who read this news will send forth righteous thoughts together to eliminate the evil in the other dimension controlling the Chaoyang City Shuangta District Court. Eliminate the arrangements of the old forces and immediately end the persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners. One of the persons responsible for this case is Tan Fujun.

6. [Guangan, Sichuan Province] More Than Twenty Practitioners Are Illegally Arrested

   The former member of the Party Standing Committee in the Chengdu City and the current Guangan City Party Secretary Tan Li, Guangan City Police Department Hu Gang and Deputy Yang Tianrong are abiding by the orders of the government and are insanely persecuting Dafa practitioners. When other districts have one year labor camp sentencing, here it is changed to three years so that the torture can be intensified. Currently, more than 20 practitioners were unlawfully arrested at Guangan City when they were sharing cultivation experiences and the local police have started to persecute practitioners again. We strongly advise Tan Li and others to turn away from doing harm to others or it will too late for regret when karmic retribution comes.

7. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Fourth Team from Changlinzi Forced Labor Camp Extorts Money from Practitioners' Relatives

The Fourth Team from Changlinzi Forced Labor Camp extorted money from practitioners' family members while claiming the labor camp is a "model" labor camp. All unlawfully detained practitioners' families were forced to pay 300 Yuan [Chinese currency, the monthly salary for an average Chinese urban worker is about 500 Yuan] for visitation rights or else they are not permitted see their relatives. This amounts to simply blackmail so that the authorities can personally gain at the expense of practitioners' family members.
