Swedish Falun Dafa Practitioners Hold Performance to Introduce Falun Dafa and Chinese Traditional Culture (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) According to tradition, December 1st is the day to light the Christmas candles. Colorful lights adorned Gothenburg and brightened the night, and many Swedish people learned the truth of Falun Dafa on that day.

In order to help friends and family members know more about Falun Dafa, see the beauty of Falun Dafa and get to know the Falun Dafa practitioners, Gothenburg practitioners organized a "Chinese Culture Party." Over 90 practitioners' friends and family members attended the party. Their earnestness, kindness, and peacefulness left the audience with a good impression.

The performances were designed and directed by practitioners themselves. One practitioner first played some Christmas music. Next, practitioners recited poetry, played musical instruments, acted out historical stories and short drama, sang songs, and gave a dance performance. The programs emphasized human morality and people's compassionate nature while introducing traditional Chinese culture.

One western practitioner sang a self-composed song entitled, "Please wake up, my Chinese friends." He sang, "Please wake up quickly, my Chinese friends. See the truth, end this cruel persecution." The demonstration of Falun Dafa exercises created a peaceful atmosphere. Another Chinese practitioner talked about Falun Dafa from a Chinese medicine perspective. The last performance was a "Lotus Dance" designed and directed by practitioners. The beautiful dance and music was the highlight of the party.

After the performance, the guests shared dinner with the practitioners and talked about the performances. One guest said, "Your dance is beautiful. Your costumes are beautiful too." When a practitioner told the guests that all of it was designed and made by the practitioners, it was met with great surprise. They marveled at the talent and unselfishness of the practitioners. The paper lotus flowers also caught the people's attention. Several guests surrounded a practitioner to learn how to make the paper lotus flower.

Over the next few hours, guests and practitioners talked at length about the performance, Chinese culture, the beauty of Falun Dafa, the principle of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance" and the persecution in China.

Some of the guests eagerly asked questions, while others mostly listened and absorbed the information. The Falun Dafa practitioners' truth-clarification efforts left their guests with a strong impression. Many people who didn't have a good understanding of Falun Dafa learned the truth.

When they left, they told the practitioners, "I feel like at I'm at home when I'm with you." "You are a group of such kind and honest people." "I wish to attend your next party." "Today I not only learned about the traditional Chinese culture, but also learned the truth about Falun Dafa. Thank you!"
