When I was in my hometown validating the Fa, all the classmates, colleagues, friends, relatives and police that I met were distraught and dissatisfied with the persecution of Falun Gong. All I heard was praise for and sympathy towards Falun Gong. This showed that Falun Dafa has long been rooted in people's minds. The following are several short stories of the Fa rectifying people's hearts.

• When I was illegally detained in jail, one of the inmates who had been sentenced to life in prison was especially vicious. I told fellow inmates cultivation stories and explained to them the principle and causal relationship between action and reward or retribution. Gradually they all changed for the better. They all said that I was good when the policewomen asked about me. The inmate with the life sentence said, " If I had known earlier about 'Zhen, Shan, Ren,' I would not have become what I am today."

• A twenty-year-old woman in the detention center on fraud charges was attracted to Dafa and began to study Fa and practice with us everyday. The police asked her if she would practice Falun Gong, she said, " Falun Gong is so good, of course I will." She sat in a lotus position one day and came up with the idea, "After I get out I will go to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong." She took the righteous path after being released.

• The jail warden disrespectfully referred to Master by directly calling out his name. A practitioner responded solemnly, "Stop. You must not refer to respected Master by directly calling his name." The warden slapped her to the ground and handcuffed her. We don't know specifically what retribution he received, but a few days later the warden said to the practitioner, "From now on I'll never refer to your Master directly by his name. You can practice here as much as you want and I will not interfere."

• Two policemen in the district office wanted to take down my statement about my trip to Beijing. I told them solemnly, "Falun Dafa is the righteous way. If everybody practices 'Truthfulness, Benevolence, Forbearance,' society's moral standards will rise..." When I finished, the head of the police station banged on the table and said, "I want to go to Beijing to appeal too, they have reduced our monthly salaries to only 200 Yuan..."

• During interrogation by a policeman from the Security Department, I loudly demanded my release and told him somberly, "You are detaining me here indefinitely, leaving my daughter at home alone. If anything should happen to her I will hold the Security Department responsible." The policeman thought for a moment and said, "Don't worry. Your daughter will be fine since she is a Falun Gong practitioner." It was clear that the police knew that Falun Dafa is good.

• Having been persecuted by the "610 Office," I asked the legal and political secretary to my home several times to tell him the true situation of the persecution and to explain to him about the Fa, giving him a chance to choose the appropriate stance for himself. He said later, "Why can't you just say that you will give up the practice in public and then go home and practice quietly?" I asked him, "Why is it so hard to tell the truth?" He thought hard but was speechless.

• While I was taking care of some business, I was warmly received by the neighborhood association. "The Falun Gong practitioners in our neighborhood association are all good people. Who knows what is going on? We will not know if the people above have made a mistake, we will have to wait to find out." A colleague told me, "The president and I have gone to the Police Department to let them know that your conduct has always been excellent. All Falun Gong practitioners I know are good people. We all know what is going on."
