Photos: Dafa Practitioners from New Jersey Participated the First Chinese New Year Parade in Edison City

(Clearwisdoms.net) February 10, 2002, more than 60 practitioners from New Jersey participated the first Chinese New Year Parade in Edison City.

This parade was aimed at promoting cultural diversity. The mayor and the Parade Committee encouraged every Chinese group to participate. Cultivation is the soul of Chinese traditional culture and has a very long history. In order to actively support this Chinese pageant in action, practitioners applied very early. Even though the representatives of evil force tried to obstruct them using every means, practitioners' righteous thoughts overcame their interference and successfully joined the parade during the Committee's last meeting.

After practitioners' elaborate effort, a dignified and beautiful float was made. Practitioners held "Falun Dafa", "Falun Dafa is Good", "Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance", "Life Needs Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" and "Happy New Year" and other banners and plaques. The practitioners' parade formation formed a golden world. The serene field, orderly marching and nice scene impressed the audience a lot earning warm applause.

After the parade, the local TV broadcast the parade scene of practitioners' participation.
