It is the Evil That Has Brought Disaster to My Happy Family

(Clearwisdom.net) I am the wife of a Falun Gong practitioner. Nowadays, bad thoughts and behaviors influence everyone and harm every family. Corrupt officials, pornographic films, gambling, and drugs are everywhere. Divorce rates are rising. Once my husband began the practice of Falun Gong, however, my family achieved a harmony we had never experienced before. This is because this practice requires every practitioner to follow "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance" in his heart. All the conflicts in my family dissolved in the face of my husband's practice. In addition, he was never ill, and all his bad habits, like overeating, drinking, infidelity, gambling, and using drugs, disappeared. I was overcome with joy and thanked Falun Gong for making my husband so good. I was the envy of my female friends.

Since July 22, 1999, however, the person with supreme power in China started to slander this good practice of Falun Gong for no logical reason. Consequently, the kind-hearted practitioners around us were persecuted to varying degrees. Some of them were sent to prisons. Seeing this, my husband's heart became heavier and heavier. After a short while, he also went to Beijing to appeal because he wanted to tell the government that Falun Dafa is good. Afterwards, he was sentenced to a labor camp for one year. Our happy family was ruined. I had to close our family business and take our child to my hometown to eke out a living. After my husband was released from the labor camp, I thought all the suffering would be over. However, the neighborhood police officers and the "610 Office" still did not allow us to have a peaceful life. The daycare center we relied on for our living was forced to close, and my husband has still not been able to get a job assignment. I asked those police officers, "When a happy family is ruined to such an extent, what on earth is the law? Who is really harming people? Who is really against society?"

Many family members of Falun Gong practitioners are now suffering from this terror. Take a look at today's propaganda and then take a look at our loved ones - which is true and which is false? We are the ones who know best. I wish for all the family members and relatives of Falun Gong practitioners to have a clear mind in this regard. Don't think that it is our loved ones who have brought us difficulties because they practiced Falun Gong. On the contrary, what Falun Gong brings us is beauty and happiness. It is the inflammatory lies and the irrational suppression that have forced our beloved ones into this situation, depriving us of our happy and beautiful lives. We should trust our own eyes, and we should trust our loved ones. They are innocent, and they did not commit any crimes. They are the most wonderful people in the world because they dare to tell the truth. As their dependents, we should no longer allow them to be unjustifiably persecuted, just as we should no longer live in terror. We should stand up and defend them. We should tell the people around us about the benefits of Falun Gong and the truth about Falun Gong, that it is the best cultivation system because it can purify both body and mind. Our loved ones are innocent. Stop the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners and restore their innocence.

Good is rewarded with good and evil is met with evil. Those who persecute the innocent will one day be punished themselves. I wish all those who are persecuting Falun Gong practitioners would listen to the hearts of their family members. For your future and for the happiness of other people, please stop the persecution of Falun Gong.
