By a Falun Dafa Practitioner from Hebei Province

(Clearwisdom.net) I was once a woman suffering from many kinds of illnesses, including hypertension, severe heart disease, rheumatoid arthritis, and tracheitis, which plagued me for over 30 years. I seemed to spend every minute in great misery, suffering from all kinds of torments. My family spent large sums of money looking for medical help for me.

Later, I had the predestined relationship to take the same bus as two Falun Gong practitioners. The practitioners introduced Falun Gong to others on the bus and shared with them the benefits of their cultivation. The three words of Falun Gong, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" remained in my heart. I understood that my illnesses could only be cured by higher beings, and human beings could do nothing to cure my ailment.

After I returned home, I asked people to help me, and finally I bought the precious book of Zhuan Falun. I read it three consecutive times, and my health fundamentally improved. Just as the book said, my menstrual period returned at the age of 57. I tried all kinds of ways to find the two female Falun Gong practitioners that I had met on the bus. Finally I found them and learned the five sets of exercises. Since then my body has continued to change daily. I felt that Teacher was cleansing my body every day. My celestial eye was opened, and I saw Teacher's Law Body guarding me all the time. Every day I told my family, "You see, this or that illness has gone away." With the miraculous truth before him, my husband, who was very stubborn, from time to time also picked up the book, saying to himself with puzzlement, "She has only read the book and never met the teacher, but she has no illness any more. This is for sure a precious book."

The villagers and my family members have all witnessed the miraculous changes in me and said that it was the result of Dafa. After practicing Falun Gong, a woman who had been bedridden with all kinds of illnesses for many years can be energetic enough to ride her bicycle to town tens of li (1 li equals 0.5 kilometer) away without feeling tired. After seeing the dramatic improvement in my health, my whole family began to learn Falun Gong. With excitement I often told people, "It is not me who found Teacher with great efforts. It is Teacher who found me after untold hardships."

Just when my family began to feel great hope for the future, this Fa with great virtue and our Teacher with great benevolence were defamed and persecuted. I was astonished, and I could not understand why. How can my wonderful results be denied? How can the truth witnessed by the villagers and family members be a lie? How many other people, who felt hopeless like me, attained the Fa with Master Li's benevolent teaching and gained new hope for life?

I was once frightened by the evil and dared not step forward to clarify the truth, even though I benefited greatly from Dafa. Now, finally, I see clearly the vicious purpose of the evil. How many sentient beings does it want to drag into the abyss? In order to save the sentient beings, how many Dafa practitioners, who stepped forward one after another to clarify the truth, have lost their lives and freedom?

Facing the evil persecution of Dafa and facing the vicious defaming of Teacher by the evil, I cannot keep silent any more. I want to appeal loudly, "Falun Dafa is good!"
