Nineteen Dafa Practitioners Walk Out of the No. 3 Detention Center in Anshan City of Liaoning Province

(Clearwisdom.net) According to insiders, at around 8 a.m. on January 27, 2002, the No. 3 Detention Center in Anshan City found that during the shift changing period, 19 Falun Gong practitioners who were detained there had gone missing.

Anshan City Police Department immediately reported the incident to China's Ministry of Public Security, Liaoning Province Party Committee, Liaoning Province Government and Police Department. These departments ordered the Anshan City Government and Police Department to find and arrest these 19 Falun Gong practitioners within seven days at all costs. The Deputy Director of the Provincial Police Department and the Director of the Provincial "610" Office [an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems] were sent to Anshan City to handle this case.

At around 8:30 p.m. on January 29, Anshan City Police Department urgently mobilized several thousand police in order to completely search the city and surrounding suburban areas. Rewards were also offered to anyone who could find the missing 19 Falun Gong practitioners within a certain amount of time. The parties responsible for the incident, including the Director of the No. 3 Detention Center, all of the police and the supervisor on that shift were suspended from their duties pending further investigation.

Prior to this incident, the No. 3 Detention Center of the Anshan City Police Department was the "Model Detention Center" of not only the city, but the entire province.

There must have be something extraordinary that helped the 19 Falun Gong practitioners walk out of the detention center, which was heavily secured by four layers of guarded gates. There has never been an incident like this, 19 people disappearing apparently without any outside help. When I told an old lady who practices Falun Gong about this, she smiled and told me, "This is the power of Falun Dafa. Watch carefully young man, it is not far from the day when the Fa will rectify the human world."
