Jixi City Court Wrongfully Sentences 12 Falun Gong Practitioners to Four to Ten Years in Jail

(Clearwisdom.net) On January 29, 2002, the People's Court in Jiguan District, Jixi City, illegally sentenced 12 Falun Gong practitioners. The television news program claimed that the sentences were given during an "open trial," but the reporter didn't even know which day the trial was held. The twelve practitioners including Wang Mi, Sun Dianbin and Cheng Peiying were held and tortured in a detention center for prolonged periods before the trial, some for as long as nine months. They were then sentenced to 4 to 10 years in jail, just because they distributed truth-clarifying literature to help people see through the lies fabricated by Jiang's regime about Falun Gong . Where can one find justice and righteousness?

Wang Mi, male, 38, a college graduate, is a teacher at the tenth middle school in Jixi City. He was illegally sentenced to 10 years in jail and deprived of his civil rights for 3 years.

Sun Dianbin, male, 31, lives in Fazhan area of Lishu District. He was illegally sentenced to 10 years in jail and deprived of his civil rights for 3 years.

Cheng Peiying, female, 33, lives in Zijian area of Hengshan District. She was illegally sentenced to 9 years in jail and deprived of his civil rights for 3 years..

Cheng Peiming, male, 36, is a mineworker at Zhangxin Mining. He was illegally sentenced to 8 years in jail and deprived of his civil rights for 2 years.

Qiu Xuezhi, male, 28, lives at Hongxing area in Lishu District. He was illegally sentenced to 9 years in jail, and deprived of his civil rights for 2 years.

Zhang Shili, male, 39, is a mineworker in Xiaohengshan Mining. He was illegally sentenced to 7 years in jail and deprived of his civil rights for 2 years.

Li Chengyi, male, 25, is an independent household electric appliance maintenance dealer. He was illegally sentenced to 5 years in jail.

Liu Guihua, female, 50, is a retired teacher from Yongan Elementary School at Jidong County. She was illegally sentenced to 6 years in jail.

Jiang Fengrong, female, 41, lives at Qinfen area in Hengshan District. She was illegally sentenced to 5 years in jail.

Zhao Shufeng and Zhao Shudan, twin sisters, female, 21, live at Dongsheng area in Lishu District. They were illegally sentenced to 4 years 6 months and 4 years in jail respectively.

Guo Meisong, female, 35, lives at Judong area in Jiguan District. She was illegally sentenced to 4 years in jail.

According to the insiders, Jiang's regime conspired to put many Falun Gong practitioners on trial all over the country before the Chinese New Year. Once again, we advise those who still follow Jiang's regime and doing evil deeds, don't suppose that you can do whatever you want to Falun Gong practitioners.
