The Lessons We Can Learn from Western Practitioners' Fa Rectification Feats in Tiananmen Square By Tian Liang
(Clearwisdom.net) Again I heard news of more than 40 Western Dafa practitioners coming to
Tiananmen Square to show people the truth, not fearing violence. I was deeply touched. Dafa
practitioners from many countries and of many ethnic groups not only told the people in China, "Falun
Dafa is good" in their own voices, but they also demonstrated that "Falun Gong belongs to
the whole world." Congratulations, this is really great news. According to the media controlled by Jiang's regime, these Westerners violated Chinese law. It is
Jiang's criminal group's persecution of Falun Gong that violates the Chinese Constitution. In the
matter of the persecution of Falun Gong, Jiang operates this way: first make a decision, then take
action and finally make a law. This process itself totally disregards the law. After July 20, 1999,
the dictator used the "beating [practitioners] to death is nothing and should be counted
as suicide" policy against Falun Gong practitioners. The policy of sentencing practitioners to
forced labor and jail at will, and depriving them of their right to appeal, is an even more serious
violation of law which renders the legal system pointless. He has violated the law again and again,
and spent so many resources to silence so many Chinese people. Do you even want to go so far as to
silence all the foreigners in the world according to your whim? The Chinese media also claimed that these peacefully appealing Westerners ruined the happy
atmosphere of the Chinese New Year. If we think about it, if the happy atmosphere of China can be
completely ruined just by several Westerners saying "Falun Dafa is good" or just sitting
there quietly in the lotus position, then isn't the "happy atmosphere" of this country too
superficial? Shouldn't the great dictator, then, ask for forgiveness in front of all Chinese people? Jiang single-handedly started the persecution of Falun Gong. He is actually subjecting all
Chinese people to forced brainwashing -- by instilling hatred, instigating people to persecute
their fellow countrymen, and forcing hundreds of millions of ordinary people who want to live a
normal life to endure the conditioned reflex of nervousness and fear for freedom of speech and
freedom of belief, which are human rights endowed by Heaven. This is probably the special
meaning of the "best period of human rights in Chinese history," as the Chinese president, the
"human rights scoundrel," as he is called by Amnesty International, is claiming. If this
is so, we can only feel sympathy for the Chinese people. The Western practitioners did not go to China to kill and commit arson. They went to tell the
Chinese people something they themselves have learned, "Falun Dafa is good." They didn't
force anyone to do anything. For such civilized and peaceful actions they were brutally beaten by
Chinese police officers. Why is Jiang's regime so afraid of this sentence, "Falun Dafa is
good?" All over the world, "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance" are powerful moral
principles that will benefit all countries and their people. If 40 to 50 countries around the world
can accept it, then why does China's dictator have to insist on "persecution until the
end?" Why is it that these people known for their kindness around the world -- Falun Gong
practitioners--are outlaws only in China? If a country were against "Truthfulness, Compassion,
Forbearance," would this country be considered a place where foreigners who grew up in free
countries can feel at ease to invest in and feel safe to visit? Treating Falun Gong with kindness will only create more breathing room in which most Chinese
people can live and pursue their dreams. Treating Falun Gong with respect will enable more Chinese
people to have a taste of peace and harmonious happiness, make them gain the confidence, morality
and justice that have been lost for such a long time. Embracing Falun Gong can only help China to
become a real member in the family of nations around the world. Posting date: 2/19/2002 |
