Falun Gong Practitioners Attend US Congressional Hearing for Human Rights Victims
(Clearwisdom.net) February 13, 2002 -- According to news sources, on the
afternoon of February 13, the US Congress held a hearing for human rights victims on Capitol Hill.
The Congressional Committee on International Relations sponsored the hearing. Falun Gong
practitioners testified in the hearing. The purpose of this hearing was to collect evidence, from the attending victims, of persecution,
about the crackdown on freedom of belief in China, and to make certain that human rights and freedom
of belief are important topics on the agenda at the upcoming US-China Summit.
