Practitioners from Washington DC Welcome Two Asian-American Practitioners Returning from Tiananmen Square


(Clearwisdom.net) In the morning of February 17, 2002, More than 20 practitioners from Washington DC welcomed Korean-American Falun Gong practitioner Du Won who took part in the peaceful appealing in Tiananmen Square in Beijing. On February 14, together with practitioners from other countries, Du Won unfurled a banner reading "Falun Dafa is Good" in Tiananmen Square and was then detained by Chinese policemen.

Wattana, the Laos-American Dafa practitioner from Washington DC who came back one day earlier than Du Won, unfurled a banner reading "Falun Dafa is Good" and shouted those words in Chinese then was detained by Chinese policemen and treated brutally.
