(Clearwisdom Net) By the end of January 2002, the 610 Office [an agency specifically created to persecuteáFalun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems] in Jilian City posted the so-called "Decision" in large amounts and in all residential areas. It openly laid out a scandalous offer made in violation of China's constitution and laws. The 610 Office promised that anyone who reported or captured Falun Dafa practitioners, who posted or had truth-clarifying materials, would be rewarded anywhere from 200 to 1,000 yuan [500 yuan is the average monthly salary for a Chinese worker]. He or she just had to dial the hotline number "610."

The short-lived "Reward Notice"

A Falun Dafa practitioner heard that the 610 Office posted lots of slanderous "Reward Notices" in the lobby of the residential area. As she was leaving to eliminate it with righteous thoughts, another fellow practitioner told her to bring one back so as to check what was on it. Later she came back with her two hands empty, she said, "The evil notice was really short-lived. The people had peeled off so many. They were all gone by the time I got there."

The inferior "Reward Notice"

A Falun Dafa practitioner visited many buildings to find an evil "Reward Notice," and finally he found one. With a calm mind, he peeled it off nobly with other people watching at him. The glue was still wet on the notice, which was made by the thinnest and cheapest paper in the market. It seemed like those vicious people had run out of money. The notice was just typographically printed (a low-quality, and inexpensive way of printing) and was dated January 6, but was not posted by the neighborhood offices until the end of January. The notice was distorted with a little glue on its corners. No wonder it was so short-lived, due to the bad quality of the paper in addition to the way in which it was posted, even the wind would rip it off.

A blow that awakes the people living in a dream

One of the centers of the evil forces in Jilian City is the Huanxiling Forced Labor Camp, where the perpetrators fiercely torture Falun Dafa practitioners. Clearwisdom Net has exposed the atrocities there many times. With the local Falun Dafa practitioners consistent wish to clarify the truth, more and more compassionate people have awaken, but those who were deeply deluded by the governmentally monopolized media didn't believe that the police would torture Falun Dafa practitioners or that the government would hire criminals and degenerates to arrest elderly people. Thus, the "Reward Notice" is a wake up call to these people. It lets anyone violate the Constitution by arresting the Falun Dafa practitioners who are clarifying the truth and saving people. Also, it states that those who violate the Constitution will be awarded 1,000 Yuan by the 610 Office rather than be punished for violating the nation's constitution. Staring blankly at the scandalous deal posted openly by the 610 Office, many people were in disbelief and at a loss for words while reading the notice.

The awakened people

There is a woman who makes a difficult living from selling milk and bread after she was laid off by a chemical plant. She has to get up early and go to sleep late everyday. Working in the bitter cold, she has a hard life. Someone showed her a piece of the "Reward Notice" peeled off from the wall, she turned around right away and said, "Don't show me this kind of thing. I would never do this even if I were poorer than I am now. I would lose virtue! 1,000 Yuan is a big number, but who dares to collect? It would bring one disaster sooner or later!"

As a Falun Dafa practitioner went into his workplace, many people gathered around him to "report information." Taking advantage of the opportunity, he spread the Fa (principles, the law of the universe), feeling that every time the government attempted to sabotage Falun Dafa it actually caused the opposite result. One employee told him, "I saw your fellow practitioners posting truth-clarification materials this morning. I told him loudly, 'Make the flyers bigger next time!'"
