The Path of Fa-rectification Walked by Falun Dafa Practitioners from Hainan Province

(Clearwisdom.Net) I am a housewife. I had been very sick for many years before I started to practice Falun Dafa. My whole body was swollen and out of shape. I felt so awful every day and often cried out loudly. I was not able to do any housework. In those days, every day was like a year to me. A relative of mine sent me a book, Zhuan Falun. I was so sick then that I could not even sit to practice the meditation exercise, so I just tried to read the book first. Twenty days later, after I finished reading the book, my health was restored to such an extent that I could even carry our heavy gas tank all the way up to the third floor. Since then, the more I read the book, the more I like to read it; the more I practice the exercises, the more I like to practice them. I understand the principles of how to be a good human being and I enjoy cultivating towards higher levels. My body and mind became refreshed, like new.

The Persecution Begins

On July 20, 1999, a small bunch of bad people in the government, including Jiang and Luo, used the power in their hands and started persecuting this beautiful practice publicly. In response, thousands of other Dafa practitioners and I went to the Hainan Provincial Government many times in order to appeal on behalf of Falun Dafa. Under the command of Luo Gan, the police beat up the people who were appealing. In front of the Provincial Government, they tore up a female practitioner's clothes and beat her up. Afterwards she was thrown into a police van. In those days of appealing to the Provincial Government to protect Dafa, the practitioners were arrested, but as soon as they were released they immediately went to appeal again. Every day there were practitioners appealing. Every day the police cars were waiting to arrest people. During this period, Hainan Dafa practitioners displayed many magnificent feats to protect Dafa that are worth both singing about, and crying about. They all showed the behavior of Dafa particles at a crucial time when Dafa was experiencing dangerous disasters.

The "8-8" Incident

August 8, 1999 was the day for Falun Dafa practitioners to have their monthly group practice in Wanlu Park, as was the custom for many years. Many practitioners and I went there together. We had just started practicing, when police cars came in a flash and immediately closely surrounded all 183 practitioners who were practicing as usual. None of the practitioners became frightened or tried to escape, and we quietly finished our sitting meditation with compassion on our faces, and then stood up to continue practicing the standing exercises. The police didn't know what to do with us, so they simply watched. After we completed our exercises they finally seemed to wake up and they started to arrest practitioners and force us into vans. I entered the police van resolutely and filled with calmness, with Master's compassionate voice in my mind that reminded me to remember the distinction between humans and enlightened beings! This is what actually occurred during that famous "8-8" incident in Haikou City, which encouraged the practitioners all over China and made the Jiang/Luo regime leap and jump and curse with anger.

Afterwards, the practitioners of Hainan traveled in small groups to all other provinces throughout China to call on Falun Dafa practitioners to step forward to validate Dafa and to exchange their experiences of protecting Dafa. They encouraged practitioners in the whole country to step forward and to use their very lives to protect Dafa. They put forth that every practitioner should treat himself/herself as a person in charge and urged them to take responsibility for Dafa. During that time almost every area of China bore the footprints of Hainan practitioners rectifying the Fa.

The Magnificent Deeds of Practitioners Song Yuesheng and Chen Yuan

Unfortunately, later on, practitioner Song Yuesheng and others were arrested. The malicious police used every despicable way to torture him, yet were not able to get a single word from his mouth. At the end of August, Song Yuesheng walked with dignity out of the front gate of the police station, in front of the eyes of the guards. He continued to encourage practitioners throughout China. His travels all over the country helped many practitioners break through their old notions, and we enlightened to the understanding that we should protect the Fa of the universe -- Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance -- and that we should not accept the persecution by the evil passively. Some time later Song Yuesheng was arrested again. In the illegal court of evil, he presented his views fervently, and firmly reprimanded the evil. He appealed and protested for Falun Dafa in the court and stated that Falun Dafa is good and that Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance are the principles of the universe.

Falun Dafa practitioner Chen Yuan is a successful businessman with several thousand million Yuan worth of property. Even under threats and persecution, his unbreakable firm belief in the truth of the universe never wavered. He lost his property, his wife and child, he lost honor, position and all that he had. The awe-inspiring righteousness of Song Yuesheng and Chen Yuan severely frightened the evil. In order to prohibit Falun Dafa practitioners from speaking out again, they beat the practitioners and sealed their mouths in front of the leaders of all levels of government who were assigned to attend the court. They read the court decision, which was full of flaws, in a hurry. They hastily sentenced these practitioners to long jail terms and finished the trial in a state of panic. Many people at the scene could not hold back their tears when they witnessed these practitioners nobly protecting Dafa with their lives as they were sentenced maliciously.

The Evil Closes In

Because so many Hainan practitioners were at the forefront of the Fa-rectification and so scared the evil, the Jiang/Luo regime repeatedly threatened the related officials in the Provincial Government. Under this pressure, all levels of evil beings in Hainan turned out in full force. Beijing also sent more evil beings to command the persecution operations, and suddenly dark clouds covered the whole city. An overwhelming terror pressed down and many practitioners were arrested, beaten up, sent to forced labor camps and to prison. My family was very frightened and watched me closely. I lost contact with other practitioners and my books were taken away. Gradually I went astray from the big wave of Fa-rectification, and started to worry that my young child would have no one to take care of him if I ever were to be arrested. My mentality of fear became heavier and heavier, and I was afraid that the evil would arrest me whenever there was any Falun Dafa related activity. I was afraid to lose my husband and child and afraid of losing the comfort of my small family. My health became bad once again, and I felt pain all over my body. I had to lie down, and couldn't even move. Just like this, for a whole year, I lived an ordinary person's life.

Joining the Current of Fa-Rectification Once Again

One day, a practitioner risked his life to send me Master's new articles, and told me about many great events of Fa-rectification by practitioners during this year. He asked me, "It's Dafa that saved you. A person who almost lost life now lives healthy and happy days because of Dafa. But now Dafa is in great danger -- how could you stay at home silently? If you don't want to save the people in the world, at least you should save your husband and child that you love." But my child is very talkative; if I told him Falun Dafa is good, he would absolutely tell others when he went to Day Care. What could I do then? The practitioner pointed out, "If he told others, isn't that clarifying the truth to others? You're afraid that others will know you're a Falun Dafa practitioner, so that affects your comfortable small family, but this is the first little mind of fear that you should put down when you start Fa-rectification. The life coming from Fa doesn't make sense if it doesn't attend to Fa-rectification. All attachments should be gotten rid of during Fa-rectification." His words squarely hit my attachments and I started to tell my child about Dafa immediately. Afterwards, I put a pack of truth-clarifying materials in a red bag and put it on the guards' table when I sent my child to Day Care. Immediately there would be some people in the continuous wave in and out of the Day Care picking up the materials quietly and reading them. Gradually, I brought two packs along and would put the truth-clarifying materials in housewives' baskets when I went out to buy groceries every day. Slowly my mind of fear became weaker and weaker. But because I still did have some fear left, if I brought three packs of information with me, one of them would always not be distributed.

When I exchanged truth-clarifying experiences with other practitioners, I felt that there was a very big distance between them and me. I could not completely join in the current of Fa-rectification. I told the other practitioners, "I feel that there's a bigger layer of fear interrupting me. I let Master down. How could I distribute just two packs of truth-clarifying materials every day and feel good enough to reach consummation?" This evil fear became scared when it knew that it would be cleaned from my body soon. Suddenly a horrible cold qi oozed from a deep place in my mind. I was frozen and shaking. I sent out righteous thoughts with other practitioners and got rid of it. I then decided to actively, massively clarify the truth and save the people of the world. That night I went to the nearby 6 apartment buildings to distribute truth-clarifying materials. The next day I sent forth righteous thoughts at 5, 6 and 7 o'clock sharp. Each time, I sent righteous thoughts for 20 minutes -- without actually planning to do so for such a length of time. After I finished sending out righteous thoughts I suddenly entered a deep tranquility. I saw an orange Falun rising slowly in front of my eyes, with a hot red sun underneath lifting the Falun. Then I saw the evil beings I had just eliminated falling to the ground like raindrops.

More Practitioners Join the Current of Fa-Rectification

Since this past October, the evil forces escalated the suppression again. But more and more Dafa practitioners are waking up and solemnly stating that all the pledges they wrote [against Falun Dafa] are invalid. Practitioner Zhifen (not her real name) enlightened along an evil path under the influence of four collaborators [former Falun Gong practitioners who have gone astray due to brainwashing and torture] from Beijing who came to brainwash Dafa practitioners in Hainan. After she gained early release from detention she read Master's new articles. Experiencing the feeling of practitioners' righteous enlightenment and Fa-rectification from reading their stories on the Internet, she stepped out of her wrong path immediately. She was re-arrested as she was printing truth-clarifying materials. This time, she performed Fa-rectification with the wisdom of a Dafa practitioner. She worked with the over 100 practitioners who had enlightened along an evil path in the women's forced labor camp and led them away from that evil path. After the labor camp officials learned about this, they detained her with the firm practitioners. There she functioned as a Dafa particle and encouraged all the firm practitioners to take off the prison uniforms and refuse to do forced labor. She insisted on practicing the exercises and studying the Fa, and was beaten up by the guards. She was then put into solitary confinement. To protest this treatment she began a hunger strike. Later she became very weak and the vicious thugs force-fed her and injured her internal organs. During the force-feeding Zhifen lost consciousness many times. The labor camp had to send her to the hospital under the insistence of the other Dafa practitioners. In the hospital, the doctors said she came back to life miraculously on two occasions after she had already died. The evil perpetrators of the persecution were deeply frightened by this and had to ask her husband to take her home. Thus, Zhifen was able to join the big wave of Fa-rectification again. Practitioners who were sent to Beijing and enlightened along an evil path abandoned the path of wrong enlightenment with the help of other practitioners, and didn't cooperate with the evil any more. They developed a new environment and cultivated once again. Practitioners in the labor camp for men also awakened to the truth one after another. In this manner practitioners entered the demon's place again to rectify the Fa, and were able to safely leave with strong righteous thoughts. Using their very lives to protect Dafa, they washed away the shame of having enlightened along an evil path, and became refined as pure and indestructible Dafa particles.

The Power of Many Small Particles

On one occasion all the streets and roads in various cities and counties had Dafa posters posted on the walls. Many people received 6 to 8 pages of truth-clarifying materials via all kinds of different ways. In Haikou City, in one night, big balloons with banners worded "Falun Dafa is Good! Restore the reputation of my Master!" were hung in Baishamen and other entertainment places. Big banners saying, "Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance are forever!" were also hung along the east highway from Haikou to Sanya. Many students received truth-clarifying materials when they opened their homework notebooks. Children in Day Care handed in the truth-clarifying materials to their parents at home, "Dad, mum, an unknown aunt gave these to you and asked you to be a good person." As November began, the evil forces saw their fate of failure more clearly and so they persecuted even more relentlessly. Especially in Haikou City and Qionghai City, plainclothes policemen were all over the street. There were groups of police numbering 3 or 5, and police vans could be seen every 300 to 500 meters. Ransacking of homes and arrests were happening everywhere. The ordinary people became clearer and clearer about what was really happening, "These police don't arrest killers, robbers, drug dealers and gamblers but instead arrest good people only." More sentient beings are waking up, sympathizing with Dafa and supporting Dafa. Many people have obtained Dafa.

After being tested and refined by adversity, many of us Hainan small particles are combining into one big particle, becoming a sharp sword of evil elimination. We have comprehended and implemented what Master has lectured about, such as "[that a Tathagata is one who] comes with the truth and the power to do what he wants;" "using at will;" and "Don't voluntarily let the evil take you away" (Rationality). We have never been so calm and indestructible. With rationality, wisdom and compassion, we are eliminating evil and saving the people of the world, and thus honoring our holy oath.
