Poem: "Teacher, you are beside me"


Teacher, I know you are beside me
with great benevolence you guide,
Every motion and thought revealed
as this heart strives to be real.

Teacher, I know you are watching
keeping a vigilant eye on us all,
In every way there is a waiting
for the moment we have come so far.

Teacher, I know you see me
and look right through this heart,
All that is thought must be righteous
You have taught us to live this way.

Teacher, I know you hear me now
as I prepare my little part,
To remember for certain this path's purpose
is to truly go beyond the human heart.
