A Western Falun Gong Practitioner: Why do I go to China?

I think it is very important for more people to know about the persecution of Falun Gong in China and the principle of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. The persecution in China has been bloody and ruthless. The practitioners of Falun Gong in China face illegal detention, torture, rape and death because they refuse to be coerced into giving up their spiritual beliefs.

There is a tyrant who is responsible for this suffering. He is the current "president" of China and he is acting ruthlessly, just like a terrorist. His victims are the good men, women, and children who are the citizens of his own country. He is responsible for the torture and killing of Falun Gong practitioners.

I intend to help bring the truth to the Chinese people who are deceived by Jiang's propaganda and to raise awareness of this situation to the good people of this world. Let's see an end to this state sponsored terrorism occurring in China.

I will go to Tiananmen Square and hold up a banner that says "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" in Chinese. This is the characteristic of the universe that Falun Gong practitioners believe in and follow. I will act in a peaceful manner and I will not fight back even if Jiang's security forces beat me, just like they have unjustly beaten tens of thousands of other Falun Gong practitioners. I want to tell the world that Falun Dafa is good and the human rights abuses must end. I want to make more people aware of the persecution in China, and let the Chinese citizens know that Falun Gong is practiced freely around the world, except in China.

I have been watching in horror and listening to the reports coming out of China for over two years now. I hope that everyone who reads or hears about this will stand up and speak out against this terrible, evil drama that is playing out in China. When I hear about mothers being killed and the death of an infant because his mother believed in Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, then I know that going to Tiananmen Square is the right thing to do. When I hear about men and women suffering the most agonizing torture and forced labor because some ignorant and foolish people want to hear them say they will give up their spiritual belief then I know it is right for me to go to Tiananmen Square. When I hear about people being forced into mental institutions and drugged, then I know that going to Tiananmen is the right thing for me to do. These tragedies are harming the lives of millions of innocent and good people.

People from all walks of life and all races practice Falun Dafa. It is freely practiced in over 50 countries around the world, and only in China has it been banned and ruthlessly persecuted.

According to my own conscience, I must not turn away because Falun Gong practitioners are suffering in China under this extreme situation. I also want fellow practitioners in China to know that many others around the world and I stand with them and that they are not alone. This is why I go to China.

It is my hope that anyone who reads or hears this will sign a petition, make a phone call, or write a letter to stand up against the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China.
