(Clearwisdom.net) In August 2000, the labor camp education section chief Liu ordered Falun Dafa practitioners at Daqing Forced Labor Camp to study so-called "Law knowledge" and then take a test. The practitioners refused to cooperate since there were six questions in the test that slandered Dafa. Liu slapped Dafa practitioner Du Guocong's face several times and additionally punished him by making him stand without moving for over an hour.

On September 24, 2000, after personnel in the No. 2 Division of the Daqing Forced Labor Camp beat practitioner Mr. Wang Bin to death, Liu said if it were not for this criticism [of beating Wang Bin to death], any other measures could be used until the practitioners gave up the practice. What kind of an education section chief is he! His so-called "education" is about beatings and cursing.

On October 24, 2001, officers of the No.1 Division of the Daqing Forced Labor Camp broke into Dafa practitioner Mr. Bai Shuang's home, entering through the balcony on the second floor, and brought him to the labor camp. After Mr. Bai Shuang was placed in solitary confinement for 13 days, he was detained in the conference room of the No.1 Division and was monitored by four prisoners. He was not allowed to see any other practitioners and has been detained illegally until now.

On October 25, 2001, over 20 Dafa practitioners at the Daqing Forced Labor Camp, who had been on a hunger strike for several days to protest the persecution, were tortured with such measures as force-feeding with high density salt water or food mixtures, being tied up with thin ropes, being tied to a metal chair, handcuffing and other abuses. Wang Yongxiang, who was the deputy chief of the labor camp and in charge of persecution of Falun Gong, led and conducted such brutal measures. The actions have been permitted and directed by the people from the "610 Office" of Daqing City, the Judiciary Bureau of the city, the provincial "610 Office," and the provincial Judiciary Bureau. Some practitioners had been handcuffed to their beds throughout the night, and some had been tortured for several consecutive days. [Note: The "610 Office" is an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute powers over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems.]

In January 2002, members of the No.1 Division of the Daqing Forced Labor Camp organized practitioners to watch the CCTV [Government mouthpiece] programs that spreads government propaganda and slanders Dafa. Police officer Wang Yingzhou from the old No. 3 Division verbally threatened practitioners. The practitioners immediately tried to stop him. Wang Yingzhou began to beat practitioners and put two practitioners into solitary confinement for over a day. After all practitioners in the No. 1 Division lodged a formal protest, the police halted the punishment.

Before the Chinese New Year of 2002, the Daqing Forced Labor Camp prepared eight metal chairs for use in torturing practitioners; four each for Division No. 1 and Division No. 2.

On February 5, 2002, Zhang Bo, the political chief of No. 4 Group of No. 2 Division, often devised plots to persecute Dafa practitioners and ordered the practitioners not to talk each other. The practitioners were even deprived of the right to speak.

On February 8, 2002, practitioner Mr. Hou Baojun from Zhaoyuan County was arrested and sent to the labor camp. He was detained illegally in the No. 2 Division and has been held into solitary confinement until the present time.
