Lin Shenli Arrives at the Montreal City Airport and Calls for More People to Help Falun Dafa Practitioners in China (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) At 10am February 27, 2002, Lin Shenli, a Falun Dafa practitioner who had been illegally sent to a labor camp because of his appealing to the Chinese Government in China arrived at the Montreal Airport. Lin's wife Li Jinyu, also a Dafa practitioner, and over 20 other practitioners held the banners read "Welcome Falun Dafa practitioner Lin Shenli" in Chinese, English and French, along with the representative from Amnesty International and reporters from about 10 medias including CBC, CTV, CJAD and Montreal Gazette, together welcome Lin's returning with the music "Pudu", "Jishi" Dafa music playing in the background. The airport staff were so touched that they made an exception and let Li Jinyu and reporters enter the security gate in order to welcome Lin Shenli.

When Lin Shenli, the Dafa practitioner who had suffered two-years of torture in jail, stepped out in dignity and with smiles, all cameras focused on him. The practitioners expressed their respect and congratulations to Lin with the song "Falun Dafa Hao" and passed the messages of "Falun Dafa is good", "Falun Dafa is the righteous Fa" to all beings.

During his two-years illegal detention, Lin's family members and relatives could not receive any information about him. He had not only been deprived the right of family visit but also been deprived the right of communication with his newly wedded wife through letters. Right before being released, the Chinese Government still threatened him with three more years prison term. However, a Dafa practitioner's righteous enlightenment towards the universal truth and the firm belief of Dafa could not be shaken by any threats. Today, with his righteous belief toward Falun Dafa, Lin Shenlin stepped out the labor camp with dignity, completely broke the evil force's attempt to use brutal measures to destroy Dafa practitioners' determination in cultivation.

During these two-years of illegal detention, all Canadian social circles and international society paid attention to Lin Shenli's situation. Most Canadian MPs, government officials of all levels and other organizations all put in efforts to try to rescue him; Irwin Cotler, the famous international human rights attorney and a member of Canadian MP did his best to call for Lin's release to Chinese Government and volunteered to be his legal council; Amnesty International initiated the rescue activities three times; numerous people signed the petition to condemn the illegal persecution against him and called for his immediate release to reunion with his family.

Lin Shenli broke away from the evil persecution and came to Canada where he can freely practice Falun Gong. However, thousands of Dafa practitioners in China are still suffering the same or even worse persecution, just because they adhere to "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance". They are telling the truth of Falun Dafa using their lives. Just as Lin Shenli said in the airport, "Sincerely wish more and more people concern and help the thousands of Falun Dafa practitioners being persecuted in China."

Let 's all put in our effort to end the brutal persecution against Falun Dafa practitioners as early as possible.
