Proposal to Establish "Jixi Falun Dafa Week"

We, part of the Dafa disciples from Jixi City, Heilongjiang Province, inspired by the proposals raised by practitioners in Changchun and other places, solemnly propose to establish February 4 to February 11, 2002 as "Jixi Falun Dafa Week." February 4 is "the Beginning of Spring" according to the Chinese Lunar Calendar. It is the first day when all things on earth come back to life. February 11 is the Spring Festival, the traditional Chinese New Year. It is what Chinese culture has named "New Year's Eve" or "New Year," which is the time when all beings on earth say goodbye to the previous year and welcome the New Year. It symbolizes the beginning of new life.

In order to more powerfully strike the evil forces and smash their efforts to damage Dafa, and to more effectively awaken the sleeping innate nature of all people, Jixi Dafa practitioners will hold the following activities during the week of February 4 to February 11:

1. To study at least one lecture from "Zhaun Falun" each day with a calm heart, to practice the five sets of exercises, to read more "Essentials for Further Advancement" and new articles, to keep a pure heart, and to hold powerful righteous thoughts at all times.

2. To send out righteous thoughts every day at 5 a.m., 6 a.m., 7 a.m., 7 p.m., 8 p.m., and 9 p.m. sharp for at least ten minutes each time during the week. For five minutes before sending forth righteous thoughts, to clean out bad thoughts and ideas, karma, and bad notions or external interference in our minds and then send out our purest and most determined righteous thoughts to completely eliminate all of the evil forces in Jixi, in China, and in the Universe that damage Dafa, with everything included and with nothing omitted.

3. To make full use of every means to spread Dafa and validate Dafa; to bring people the truth about Falun Dafa with reason and wisdom; to further awaken the innate nature of all people and to fulfill their millions of years of waiting for Dafa; to make use of the opportunities during the Spring Festival while visiting relatives and friends to set off an upsurge of comprehensively clarifying the truth of Falun Dafa; and to welcome the splendor of "Fa's Rectification of the Human World" and the advent of the moment when the heavens and the earth celebrate together!

Salute practitioners who have been firm and indomitable in the course of Fa-rectification and have devoted their lives to Dafa!
