A Righteous Family Member
By a practitioner in China
(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong Practitioner Yu's [name changed to
protect from further persecution] husband does not practice, but he knows
that practitioners are good people. He stood firmly on the side of practitioners
during several difficult situations and successfully restrained malevolent
officials. There were very difficult moments when he told practitioners that he
would help with their work of truth clarification and become their contact
person. Being a good person, he did what he said he would do.
There was a time when Yu was kidnapped and sent to a brainwashing class. Her
husband went to the class to look for her. When he found Yu, he slapped her and
said, "Why do you think that you should be here? Don't you have to mind
your housework anymore? Come home and do your work!" Using his wits, he
took Yu with him and left the brainwashing class.
On another occasion, policemen and squad members from the village came to
Yu's house and stood in her front yard. They were about to forcefully arrest Yu
when her husband arrived. He raised his voice and challenged the crowd,
"She is a good person and nobody should arrest her!" A few of the
policemen had electric batons in their hands. Yu's husband pointed at these
policemen and shouted, "Put down your batons!" When he was told that
one of the people was the Chief of the Village, Yu's husband righteously
responded, "Chief of the Village? I don't care. As long as Yu has not
committed a crime, nobody can take her away!" Hearing this, the officials
backed off. Yu's husband had once again helped his wife escape arrest.
Not long ago, the policemen came to Yu's house again to look for her. When
asked whether Yu was home, Yu's husband yelled, "Get out! Who do you think
you are coming to my house? Yu is not home. She is in Beijing." The
policemen were visibly shaken and left hurriedly on their motorcycles. Once
again, Yu's husband succeeded in suppressing the evil intent of the officials.
