Clarify the Truth in Depth and in a Way That is Easy to Understand

In order to spread the Fa well, we must first study the Fa well and be able to clearly see and be aware of everyday people's mentalities and concerns. The basic nature of everyday people is selfish. Out of selfish concerns, some people have therefore believed Jiang's lies. They don't understand and don't want to understand the truth of Falun Gong, and will reject it once they hear about it. Their thinking is like this: "I didn't practice Falun Gong or believe in it even before the persecution, so why would I believe in it now when it is being severely persecuted. Falun Gong has nothing to do with me. It only pertains to Falun Gong practitioners." As for those people who participate in the persecution of Falun Gong, their thinking is oftentimes like this: "This is an order from the top. Whether it is right or wrong has nothing to do with me."

For Dafa practitioners, handing out flyers and posting Hongfa (introducing Dafa to the public) materials is not enough to break through to these types of people. We need to talk with them and clarify the truth to them in a deeper way that is easy for them to understand.

To do this, I prepare bundles of truth clarifying CDs and tapes and take them with me wherever I go. Whenever I come into contact with someone, I look for appropriate ways to Hongfa and explain the truth to them. I have found that the critical factor of the effectiveness is determined by how I approach the matter and whether or not I am able to handle it well.

There are several benefits of doing it this way: First, it saves on the time of spreading materials. Second, it is safer. Third, the materials are used more efficiently. And fourth, it is easy to find predestined people.

This is how I usually approach my conversations with people. I first start in on a normal conversation with them and try to get a sense of their mentality. For example, I talk about the corruption in society nowadays and the lack of moral standards. I then begin to talk about the unpopularity of Jiang's regime among the people, and the many misfortunes and natural disasters that are currently taking place. If the conversation goes well, I will take it a step further and ask whether they know why all these disasters are taking place. In most cases, they will say no. I will then take the opportunity to explain the truth of Falun Gong to them.

During this point of the conversation, I feel we must be very careful about our approach. We should start by talking about the issues they are interested in and concerned about and then link them to our understandings of Falun Gong. If we can truly explain the relationship between the principles of Falun Gong and the persecution to the causes of the issues that personally affect them, they will most certainly be shocked. By this time, they would want to understand the truth about Falun Gong for themselves. I would then take the opportunity to give them the materials that I had brought with me. (Be careful about this: you should get their approval before giving out the materials). In this way, people will cherish the materials and definitely read them when they go home. I find that the result is much better this way!

For relatives, friends, or colleagues who have been heavily poisoned by Jiang's propaganda, we can first introduce them to the exercises from the standpoint of physical health. If they find the exercises interesting and can accept them, then we can slowly begin to explain the truth of Falun Gong based on their ability of comprehension. Doing it this way, the results will be more positive.

My experience has been this: If you have the heart for validating Dafa, clarifying the truth, and saving all beings, Teacher's law body will arrange those predestined people to meet you. Actually, we are using the everyday forms of human society to bring the truth of Dafa to the predestined people. When we seize the opportunity to properly explain the truth to them, then they can be saved.
