Account of Information Day in Hannover, Germany to Urgently Rescue Falun Gong Practitioners in China (Photos)

Hannover is one of the largest cities in Germany and renowned for holding large-scale expos. The year 2000 expo was held here. There were no Dafa practitioners in this city until practitioners from other cities participated in the three-day health expo in the city last year. Some Westerners then started to practice Falun Gong. It was the first activity of SOS Rescue of Falun Gong practitioners in China and Xiong Wei, the former student of Berlin University that was held in Hannover. It was all organized by the new Western practitioners.

On March 2, 2002, over 30 Dafa practitioners from Hannover and nearby cities of Bremen, Hamburg, Kassel, and Goettingen participated in the activity. A female practitioner came with her two young children. The practitioners sent forth righteous thoughts in the beginning and before practicing the exercises each time. The weather was pleasant, and there were many people passing by. Seeing the serene practice scene and the SOS poster boards, people were shocked about the Jiang regime's persecution against Falun Gong practitioners in China, and many signed on the appeal letter calling for release of Xiong Wei. Many came forward to inquire about practice sites and Dafa information. Quite a few started to learn the exercises on site.

Some Chinese passing by also took Dafa information and truth-clarifying videos. Some of them began to understand the SOS activity after the practitioners clarified the truth to them.

The booth of the CDU party was near our booth. Some practitioners talked with them and made an appointment for further discussion.

A western practitioner from Bremen started practicing Falun Gong two months ago. He said it was wonderful to participate in the Hongfa activity along with other practitioners and there was no such feeling when practicing alone at home.

In the evening, many practitioners stayed late and shared experiences. The practitioners felt that evils in the other dimensions were eliminated and people began to understand Dafa easily. They also felt the great responsibility of Dafa practitioners in the Fa-rectification period, as there were still many people who didn't know Dafa.
