Clarifying the Truth about the Persecution to Neighbors Face-to-Face

(Clearwisdom.net) Ever since Jiang's gang started the persecution against Falun Gong in 1999, my husband and I, both over 70-year-old Dafa practitioners, have feared nothing and always stepped forward to publicly tell people that Falun Dafa is good. We even told that to the local policeman responsible for my neighborhood, so that he will know Falun Gong practitioners are all good people.

Since May 2001, we had noticed that elementary school students tore down the truth-clarification flyers or posters, so we went to clarify the truth on the road along which the students go to school. We told the students that Falun Gong practitioners are good people and cultivate themselves according to Truthfulness-Benevolence-Forbearance, and that the flyers or posters put on the wall are used to save people and should not be torn down. I also told them that what was aired on television about Falun Gong was all fabricated for the purpose of persecuting Falun Gong. By doing this, we had achieved good results.

The weather became warm. A lot of people sat outside the buildings, and I thought that this would be a good opportunity to clarify the truth to these people. I told them that Falun Gong practitioners cultivate themselves according to Truthfulness-Benevolence-Forbearance, that Falun Gong is a cultivation of body and mind, and that they should not be deceived by the fabricated lies aired on television. There are 72 households in the building I live in, and by now 60 households have heard my truth clarification. People know the truth now. Some of them came to my home to ask for the truth-clarification materials, while others asked for the truth-clarification VCD. One of my neighbors asked for 4 copies of the material, saying that he wanted to give them to his friends and relatives. There is another neighbor who had torn down any truth-clarifying materials he saw on the wall. I told him, "You are lucky. What is put on your wall is for protecting you and your family members." After hearing this, he said happily, "Is this right? I will no longer take it off again." There is an old lady who said, "If you have the material, you can bring it to me and I'd like to read it. Jiang is too bad. All you Dafa practitioners are good people. Jiang has persecuted the practitioners so badly, and he is really bad."

I went to clarify the truth to a lady in charge of the neighborhood committee, and she knows the truth now. She said, "I do not tear down the truth-clarification materials. The residents here brought the materials they have torn down to me. I keep all the materials in my room." She also told me, "I told the higher authorities (the local police station) that all Falun Gong practitioners are good people and you should not treat them that viciously." She also said, "My neighborhood has a Dafa practitioner. The local police station came to arrest him. I asked the police three times not to arrest him. As result, he was not taken away." I said to her, "You have actually done a good deed. Falun Gong will bring happiness to you in future."

The Fa rectification is still ongoing, and we should make the best use of every minute in clarifying the truth and saving people.
