One Person Cultivates and the Whole Family Benefits

(Clearwisdom.net) It was in October of 1994 that I obtained the Fa. Not only did my diseases disappear after I cultivated for less than half a year, but miraculously all of my family members also benefited.

My husband was suffering from twin regenerative kidney stones. He needed hospitalization almost every year to eliminate the stones. Since 1998, he has not had to go to the hospital at all. On two occasions, although he neither took medication nor had any injections, he discharged a small stone when urinating and he didn't feel any pain at all. He told me, smiling, "I haven't taken medication for several years. How can it heal itself? I said, "This is what is said: When one person cultivates, the whole family benefits. You have benefited as well. You must respect the Teacher and remember that Falun Dafa is good!"

My family also includes two older people. My father-in-law is 86 and my mother-in-law is 82. My father-in-law is healthy and hearty. Every day he walks up and down four flights of stairs 3 or 4 times and does not cough or pant. His eyebrows and mustache were completely white, but have gradually turned black, as has a lot of the hair on his head. He reads Dafa books and materials quite often and knows that Dafa is good.

My mother-in-law suffers from cataracts and can only distinguish light and shadow. When I promoted the Fa to her, I said, "You must remember that Falun Dafa is good!" I often use the time when everybody is eating lunch to let them listen to the Fa. Although my mother-in-law cannot see clearly, she no longer needs others to support her. Her hair, which had been white for more than 30 years, is turning black. Her thinking has become clearer also.

Before August 1998, my son had read almost all the Dafa books and encouraged me to cultivate myself well. Around August, I advised him to drive less and not to travel too far. One week later, I asked him again not to drive any more. If there was something urgent, just take the taxi and try to stay at home. I had seen that he would have a car accident.

At about the end of August, while my son was driving too fast on the highway and wasn't watching carefully enough, his car ran under a big truck in front of him. All the passersby thought that both the car and driver would be demolished. When they pulled my son's car out, my son pushed open the smashed door of the car and walked out. Everybody was astonished and examined him carefully. He was not hurt at all. There was not even a scratch on his skin. The roof of the car was completely flattened. I asked my son when he returned, "Are you OK?" My son pretended not to understand me, "What did you say?" I said, "Isn't your car 'hospitalized'?" He was very surprised, "How would you know?" I told him calmly, smiling, "Remember that Teacher saved you. One person cultivates. The whole family benefits."

One day before New Year's Eve 1999, my eldest granddaughter turned three. Suddenly she itched all over and was crying and screaming. At the time, everybody was away on vacation. We went to several big hospitals but none of the medications had any effect. My husband felt deep pain in his heart and was could not do anything except hold the child. He went to stand in front of Teacher's picture and said, "Teacher Li, I have never begged anybody in my whole life. Today I beg you to let my granddaughter become well. If she truly becomes well, I would believe in you completely." Shortly after the child stopped crying and fussing and went asleep. The next morning, the child went out to play. He opened her clothes and saw that the rash was gone. He lifted the child in his arms, stood in front of Teacher's picture, and said, "I salute you, Teacher. Thank you, Teacher." Then holding the child, he shouted very loudly, "Now everything is good. Thank Teacher!"

In the winter of 1998, three people from my second eldest daughter's family came to live with us in my home for a month. When they returned to their home, upon reaching the big gate, they found water streaming everywhere on the ground. Unfortunately, the water was leaking. They lived on the first floor and had just decorated their home. Had they done all that work for nothing? They opened the door. The whole room looked like a sauna. It turned out that their heating valve was damaged. Then they remembered the built-in wardrobe in the bedroom and all the clothes and quilts on the floor under the bed. She ran into the bedroom. They were astonished by what they saw when they opened the door. It was so odd! Why hadn't even one drop of water gone into the room? There was no threshold on the floor and the ground was flat. There was water all over the kitchen, the bathroom, and the living room. The water was about three inches deep. Only in the bedroom was there no water . She told me about all this when she came back. I told them, "This is Dafa's miraculous power. You must cherish Dafa. Study the Fa well." They read Zhuan Falun three or four times in a row. My daughter also learned the five sets of the exercises.
