Zhudong Community College is the main activity center for the residents of Zhudong Town. Situated close to the town council, the college hosts a variety of activities for the residents to enrich their lives.

Due to the fact that Falun Gong practitioners cultivate according to the cosmic characteristics of Zhen-Shan-Ren, which benefits both mind and body and elevates moral standards and purifies hearts, the college invited local practitioners to give regular Falun Dafa seminar every Saturday morning from 9 am to 11 am.

Xinzhu County Commissioner Mr. Zheng and Mayor of Zhudong Town Mr. Lu attended the first seminar and spoke to the audience. Mr. Zheng said he could not understand why the Chinese government would brutally persecute such a good cultivation practice that teaches people to be good people and elevates people's moral standards. He said today he came to tell everyone that Falun Gong is a good practice. His mother is also practicing Falun Gong. He wanted Falun Gong to apply as a "People's Organization" from county government so it could spread faster and the people of Xinzhu could benefit from the practice. The county government will offer necessary assistance.

Mr Lu said that even though he has not read all the Dafa books yet, since Falun Gong cultivates people's xinxing, follows Zhen-Shan-Ren and teaches people to be good, it must be a good cultivation way and worth encouraging. He is trying to improve residents' living environments and believes that righteous beliefs could let people have peace of mind and improve people's quality of life from within. He has seen that his sister and sister-in-law both benefited from Falun Gong cultivation. He hopes Falun Gong will flourish in Zhudong Town. Mr. Zhang Qingxi, President of the Taiwan Falun Dafa Association shared his experience of how he obtained the Fa and that his wife's health improved in a short time after they started cultivating Falun Gong.

Mr. Wang, a practitioner who had totally lost confidence in life after suffering a severe car accident and ending up in wheelchair, shared with the audience his new life after he started practicing Falun Gong.
