Taiwan Falun Gong Practitioners Demonstrate the Exercises in the County Middle School (Photos)

The joint sporting event of Tainan middle schools and high schools took place at Xuejia Middle School in Xuejia Town on February 26-28, 2002. Principal Chen of Xuejia Middle School attended the Tainan County Teachers' Winter Falun Gong Class late January this year during the winter break and obtained the Fa. After the classes, he knew that Falun Gong not only helps people to obtain good health but also focus on Xinxing [mind and heart nature] cultivation, which is the best way to improve the moral standard of the society. In order to spread Falun Dafa, he contacted the Physical Health Department of the Education Bureau to have a demonstration of Falun Gong exercises. The county government approved his request.

The Falun Gong exercise demonstration was arranged as the first item on the performance list. Dafa practitioners in Southern Taiwan acted as Dafa particles. Several practitioners even came from Taizhong county and Zhanghua County. Altogether about 400 people participated in the demonstration. The magnificent and serene scene and orderly movement impressed the students and teachers from over 70 schools, giving them an opportunity to know Dafa so they may obtain the Fa and begin cultivation in the future. During the demonstration Mr. Su, head of the county, came to watch. The performance gained warm applause. Mr. Su went to the place where Falun Gong practitioners took a break and greeted the practitioners. He said that he had read through "Zhuan Falun" once and was reading it for the second time. He said he also wanted to learn it. During January's Winter Break Falun Gong Class for Teachers, Mr. Su also came and gave a speech.
