Public Opinion in Changchun Becomes An "Ethics Tribunal" of Sorts - The People Judge the Truth About the Persecution

A few corrupt officials in the Changchun Nanguan District Court had scheduled an illegal trial on March 6th for 13 Falun Gong practitioners. Unfortunately for the Court officials, before the trial could begin, the general public had begun themselves to act as an "ethics tribunal" of sorts, and begun their own "trial."

On the evening of March 5, 2002, many residents in the Changchun area saw the Falun Gong truth clarifying programming broadcast on the local cable TV network. People learned that the Tiananmen "self-immolation" incident and the "Fu Yibin Murder Case" were staged. They learned the ugly truth of Jiang's evil nature and they saw how Falun Gong's popularity has spread widely around the world.

People were so touched by the footage that heated debates began all over town, with many people speaking up for Falun Gong and for the Chinese people who had been deceived by the regime's propaganda. Jiang and his gang were thus escorted onto the witness stand of the general public's "ethics tribunal."

As a Changchun Falun Gong practitioner has pointed out, this incident only happened due to the persecution of Falun Gong by Jiang's followers and their local agents in Changchun. His point was that if there had not been any persecution and slander, Falun Gong practitioners would not have had to make such an effort to clarify the truth about the actual situation.

Since the beginning of 2002, some evil agents at the Changchun Police Department - under the instructions from Jiang and Luo's regime and their local agents in Changchun - have been escalating their persecution of Falun Gong. Over 200 practitioners were arrested, leading to a second massive wave of arrests around the Spring Festival season. Many practitioners were arrested or forced to leave their homes to avoid arrest. Some practitioners experienced extremely vicious persecution. For example, on January 25, Li Yanmin (female) was blindfolded and escorted to a remote building by agents from Division #1 of Changchun Police Department . They tortured her for 48 hours, both day and night. She was forced to sit on a tiger bench [for a description, please see http://www.clearwisdom.net/emh/articles/2001/11/24/16156.html] and beaten to the point that she could no longer move or eat food. On February 10, Zhang Binghui, a 51-year-old woman, suffered tremendously as her eyeballs were even knocked out of the socket during a torture session by evil agents in the Changchun Kaixuan Hospital. (This hospital always cooperates with Police in persecuting practitioners.) Even during the Spring Festival season, the word from the Changchun Police Department was that "It's okay to kill them on the spot when we find Falun Gong practitioners putting up signs and banners." The authorities have gone totally mad.

In the past, Falun Gong practitioners used to go about their daily lives and quietly cultivate at home. It is because of the senseless persecution and widespread public slander against them that Falun Gong practitioners step forward to clarify the truth. According to the Falun Dafa Information Center, the confirmed death toll in the persecution has reached nearly 400. Countless others are illegally detained and tortured. Under such conditions, if they did not clarify the truth, then, more and more good people would be tortured and even killed. If they did not clarify the truth, there would be even more innocent people deceived by lies without knowing what is truly good and what is truly evil. That is to say that it is Jiang's illegal crackdown that began the phenomenon of so many people going to Beijing to appeal. It is the Changchun police's brutal persecution that led to the truth-clarifying programs on the cable network. The Falun Gong programs made it possible for Changchun residents to see first-hand the truth, rather than the fabricated propaganda contrived by their government to deceive them.

Every time Jiang steps up the persecution, he is actually spreading the truth more widely. If those few bad people in Changchun continue to head towards the opposite side of their fellow locals, then we can predict that not only practitioners, but also their relatives, friends...each and every conscientious and righteous person will become - and in fact, have become - the major force in clarifying the truth about Falun Gong!

Persecution will never break the stride of true cultivators. When the truth has spread to every corner, everyone's true selves will awaken, justice will be reborn, and the grandeur of the universal truth will be displayed!

By the way, here I also want to warn Changchun police agents: You are supported by the people's tax money that they earned through their hard work. They support you so that you can protect them from harm, not for you to commit crimes against the people. Don't hope that Jiang will back you up in the future. Jiang's madness right now is exactly the manifestation of his fear and desperation! Whatever he owes, he will have to pay all of it back at his pathetic finale. If you continue to follow him to foolishly do bad things, then you exert your full strength for him today and will be buried with him tomorrow!
