According to legend, Tianshui City was the place where the famous ancient emperor Fu Xi invented The Eight Diagrams. It has been a place propitious for giving rise to great men, its climate is pleasant and it is rich in natural resources and products. People have lived a peaceful, happy life here for many, many generations.

Since July 20, 1999 when Jiang's regime started its ban of Falun Gong, utilizing the entire state apparatus, the authorities of Tianshui City have closely followed suit. They have abided by the persecution policy, causing so many Falun Gong practitioners to suffer under brutal persecution and inhuman torture.

Practitioner Zhou Yaming, male, was tortured until both his spine and kneecaps were broken; his wife was also detained. As a result, their child had to be taken care of by Zhou's mother. The situation for this family has thus become extremely difficult.

Practitioner Li Cuihong (female) and Wang Yongming, a couple, were both sent to labor camp and their third-grade daughter was left at home alone and helpless. After Wang's labor camp term was due, he was not released and he suffered inhuman tortures. His current situation is unknown.

Practitioner Yi Xiaolan, female, was kidnapped by the police. She suffered brutal tortures and her current situation is unknown. Both her husband and son had been illegally interrogated for three days.

Practitioner Chen Jiao was discovered by police when she was distributing truth-clarifying materials. Policeman Wang from Beidao Public Security Bureau violently beat her with a wrist-wide wooden baton for several hours. She was left with bruises covering her entire body. Unwilling to tolerate this vicious policeman's further humiliation, she dropped from the third floor. She was disabled as a result. When her husband went to the Beidao Public Security Bureau requesting justice be done to the assailant who had tortured his wife, the police lied to him, telling him, "The person who beat your wife does not work here."

Practitioner Zhou Xiaolan was detained because of making an appeal in Beijing. She went on a hunger strike to protest their persecutions. After being taken away by police, she was inhumanly tortured under great humiliation. Police personnel, Wen Dahu, Xian Liqiang and Liu Shuyuan cuffed both her hands to a bed board, stripped off her pants, and "force-fed" her from the anus. Zhou Xiaolan was tortured so painfully that she felt like she was dying. Wen Dahu crazily shouted, "You don't want to eat from your mouth, then we'll let you eat from your anus!" Jiang Yonggang, the chief of the Security Section of Tianshui City Yonghong Factory, was even more obscene. For enjoyment, he would put his hand inside the panties of all female practitioners.

Due to limitations on the length of this article, here revealed is just the tip of the iceberg regarding the inhuman persecutions of Falun Gong in this city.

The brutal persecutions occurring in Tianshui City have shocked the Gods. From July 20, 1999 to the present, various severe disasters have kept occurring in this city, one by one. Widespread fire accidents have taken place continuously, including the fires at Tianshui County Military Camp. Other cases of those who received retribution were: Jingbiao Factory fire accident, etc.; city-wide earthquakes (which occurred 3 times) causing people to live in fear of more earthquakes; and a large-scale disaster involving the Jianshan Elementary School campus which was damaged by a landslide in Qingan County.

Looking back at history, one can realize that whenever both natural and manmade disasters frequently happen in a place, it must be because the performance of the government officials in that place goes against the willingness of the God and is far from the Dao. It must be because they have persecuted kindhearted people and have substituted injustice in place of justice.

"I can tell you, all of the natural and man-made disasters that have been happening in Mainland China are already warnings for the sins the beings there have committed against Dafa. If they don't come to realize it, then the real catastrophe(s) will begin." (from Teacher Li's article "Dafa Is Indestructible")

The disasters resulting from the persecution of Falun Dafa will swallow up those beings who have been deeply deceived by the evil's slanderous propaganda about Falun Gong. We hereby urge all the innocent people in Tianshui City that for your own and your family members' future, please resolve your misunderstanding and hatred toward Falun Gong; being nice to Dafa, you will obtain a bright future as a result; cherishing Dafa is the same as cherishing your own life.

Please record the following names of the policemen who have committed severe crimes against Falun Gong practitioners: Wen Dahu, Zhang Baoyong, Feng Jitang, Zhou Jizu, Ma Jianxi, Pei, Wu Jing, Wu Hongxia, Pei Guilin, Wang. Their crimes as well as the crimes committed by other unknown policemen have been reported on the Clearwisdom.net website. Their cruel persecutions of Falun Gong practitioners are the true cause of the frequent disasters occurring in Tianshui City.
