Dafa Practitioner in Muling City, Heilongjiang Province Overcomes Detention Center's Persecution with Righteous Thoughts

(Clearwisdom.net) Practitioner Guo Lianyun, is female, 60 years old, from Sanxing Village/ Hexi Township/Muling City/ Heilongjiang Province. Reported by an evil person, she was illegally arrested by officers from Muling Town Police Station and taken to the Muling City Detention Center after going to a fellow practitioner's home for a visit on January 11, 2002. Other female practitioners, Ms. Zhou Zhirong and Ms. Zhang Aiqin, were also arrested at the same time. To resist the evil's persecution, they have now been on a hunger strike for more than fifty days and are extremely weak. The people from the political and security section that are responsible for the persecution constantly refused to release them. Dafa practitioner Shen Jinge (female) was locked and cuffed, hands and feet to the rings on the floor of the cell. She cannot move. With feces and urine on the floor, she was locked onto the rings for more than 30 days.

The detention center sent 60-year-old practitioner Ms. Guo Lianyun to the City Center Hospital after she had been on a hunger strike for 48 days. Her feet were locked to the bed for nine days. They didn't release her even when she had to move her bowels or urinate. Later, with the help of a kind person, she got a hacksaw and cut all the shackles by herself. Using strong righteous thoughts and being strengthened by Master, she walked out of the hospital. During that period, hospital staff were walking around; however, none of them noticed. Several hours later, the evil people found out and searched all over for her.

(Note: Ms. Guo Lianyun was unconstitutionally arrested six times. She was not highly educated. With the righteous belief in Master and Dafa, she went on a hunger strike four times and each time left the detention center. When the evil persons sent her to a labor camp, they refused to accept her for some reason.)

Appendix: A letter from Ms. Guo Lianyun to her children

My Children:

Today I would like to tell you my experience. I didn't want you to know before because I was afraid to let you feel uncomfortable for me. That is why I answered every one of your inquiries with a smile. Do you realize that the suffering we experienced was unimaginable? Hunger strike for 48 days; every second was hard to pass; I knew I would be released as soon as I told them I gave up the practice. But I cannot--because I am doing the most righteous, most sacred thing. I am not wrong! They want to me to lie. But I cannot! Because I am practicing "Truthfulness, Benevolence and Forbearance," how could I not be truthful? This is what disciples who are true cultivators cannot do. I would rather die than write the "guarantee letter." This might be something you cannot understand. However, you should be happy for me. It has been only several years since Master spread the Fa. However, Dafa has already spread all over the world. This is something that cannot be done by common human beings. Our Master is really great. Won't you think it over? I feel extremely happy to be a particle of Dafa. Therefore, I definitely refuse to cooperate with the evil for anything.

The police sent me to the hospital because they were afraid to take legal responsibility if I died in the detention center. In the hospital they locked me on the bed and didn't unlock me even to use the toilet. This lasted for nine days.

I have to come out. I have to verify the Fa and clarify the truth. They are persecuting us by detaining us. We cannot let them do this. This is not good for them either.

My children, you should be happy for me. You should remember, "Falun Dafa is good!"
