Dear Ms. ______,

I would like to thank you for the e-mail I received dated March 19, 2002 regarding the critical situation in China.

The discrimination against Falun Gong practitioners will only get worse unless the "Kill without mercy" policies of the Chinese government are stopped. Canada, as a member of the international community, must help organizations such as Amnesty International to put a stop to the unjust violence.

I would like to inform you that my colleague, Svend Robinson has brought the issue to the attention of the Honourable Bill Graham, Minister of Foreign Affairs, asking him to speak out against the treatment of Falun Gong members in China.

Thank you again for bringing this important human rights issue to my attention.
