[Shanghai] Shanghai Practitioners Convey their Respect to
the Great Changchun Practitioners
Under the most difficult circumstances Changchun practitioners used the
medium of television to clarify the truth to a broad section of the population,
a great and magnificent act of mercy. Shanghai practitioners, therefore, wish to
convey their highest respect to the Changchun practitioners. We will also do our
best to accomplish the historical mission of clarifying the truth and offer
salvation to sentiment beings.
Shanghai Falun Dafa practitioners
[Jilin City, Jilin Province] Officials in a Community and Police Office
Coerce Innocent Middle School and Elementary School Students to Destroy Dafa
Truth-Clarifying Materials
Since March 13, the evil force in Jilin City has been extremely rampant.
Their demon claws reached even to the poor children. On Sunday, officials in the
Community Office and Police Offices instigated and organized students from many
middle schools and elementary schools to deface and remove the Dafa
truth-clarifying materials posted in the city.
We call on all the kind-hearted people to please pay attention to Falun Gong
and safeguard the children!
In addition, two more Dafa practitioners were arrested when they were posting
Dafa truth-clarifying materials in the Changyi District of Jilin City.
[Dingxing County, Hebei Province] Seventeen Dafa Practitioners are Illegally
Arrested; Jing Mingzhi, Liu Wenxin and Other Lawless Officials Are Responsible
On February 27, 2002, led by Jing Mingzhi and Liu Wenxin, vicious ruffians
from Gaoli Township, Dingxing County of Hebei Province, illegally arrested 17
practitioners and confiscated their properties. All of sudden the township
government became a jail. Offices were turned into the rooms for interrogation
accompanied by torture. The thugs were rude and brutal and relentlessly tortured
these practitioners. The practitioners tolerated the extreme pain without
complaints and retaliation. Practitioners clarified the truth to them again and
again, but they still hate Dafa and Dafa practitioners. We call on all people
from all walks of life to support and pay attention to this issue. We call on
all practitioners to eliminate the evils with righteous thoughts and offer
salvation to sentient beings.
[Shandong Province] On March 6th, Dafa Banners Manifest the
Dignity of Dafa during "Falun Dafa Day" in a Certain City
March 6, 2002 (" Jingzhe Day" on the Chinese lunar calendar) was a
city's Falun Dafa Day in Shandong Province. On the morning of that day many Dafa
banners reading, "Falun Dafa is Good" and "Restore the Reputation
of my Teacher," were displayed here and there in many districts of the
city, which manifested the greatness and dignity of Dafa. It not only
effectively shocked the evils but also validated the saying, "force can't
change human hearts." Each practitioner used different methods to clarify
the truth to the public in order to save sentient beings and help Teacher to
rectify the Fa.
[Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] The "Law Education Class" at Wuhou
District is Actually a Lawless Jail
The "law education class" in Tongjiang Town hosted by Gao
Mingliang, director of Wuhou District's Political and Judicary Committee, was
actually a private jail that trampled the law. All detainees in the class were
forcibly arrested from their homes merely because they were Falun Gong
practitioners. Policemen, guards and detainee accompaniers, the number of whom
were three times that of the practitioners, controlled all of practitioners'
freedoms. Any practitioners who tried to discuss law or human rights with them
would be beaten up. In order to protect their basic human rights, these
practitioners have been on a hunger strikes several times. Most practitioners
have been illegally detained more than four months. We hope people with a sense
of justice pay attention to this serious law violation issue.

Jiangxi Street, Chengdu City: Zhao Yu
Jinyang District: Ms. Zhang Shengrong, 62 years old; Ms. Wang Fuying, 60
years old; Ms. Zheng Youmei, 56 years old; Mr. Liu Zhenhai, 58 years old;
Shuangnan District: Mr. Lu Xinmin, over 50 years old; Ms. Zhang Shiqing, 53
years old;
Cuqiao Area: Mr. Luo Huishun, 62 years old.
[Bozhou City, Anhui Province] After Detention, the Whereabouts of Mao Luge
and Li Guiyun are Unknown
On January 18, 2002, officers from the National Security Section of Jiaocheng
District's Police Department, Bozhou City, illegally arrested Dafa practitioner
Ms. Mao Luge. Now her whereabouts are unknown. Before the Spring Festival,
policemen from Qiaocheng City's Police Department arrested practitioner Ms. Li
Guiyun. Her whereabouts are also unclear. All the Dafa practitioners from Bozhou
City call on the international community to urgently rescue these two female
practitioners.
It was said that at least 20 Dafa practitioners were still illegally detained
at Bozhou City's Detention Center and Custody Center.
[Anhui Province] Illegal/Unconstitutional Internment of Dafa practitioner Gao
Hewu at the Nanguan Detention Center of Taihe County
In November 2001, policemen in Taihe County's Police Department illegally
arrested Mr. Gao Hewu, a Dafa practitioner from Anhui Province, when he
distributed truth-clarifying materials. Because Mr. Gao Hewu refused to give up
his belief in Falun Dafa, he has been detained at the Nanguan Detention Center
of Taihe County. This was the fourth time that Mr. Gao Hewu was illegally
detained.
[Junan County, Shandong Province] Extortion of Dafa Practitioner Mr. Liu Xia,
from Guanfang Township
[Jiangsu Province] Further Persecution of Dafa Practitioners: Military
University Officials Request Students to Fill Out Questionnaire
Recently, in order to further persecute Dafa practitioners, personnel from a
military university gave each student a questionnaire to fill out. There are
only two questions on it. One is whether the student has a family member who is
practicing Falun Gong. The other is whether the student himself/herself is a
practitioner. Fellow practitioners from Jiangsu Province and practitioners all
over the world reading this news, please collectively sent forth righteous
thoughts to completely eliminate the evil behind it and prevent it from
persecuting Dafa practitioners.
[Daxing'anlingArea, Heilongjiang Province] Brutal Force-Feeding in Jiagedaqi
Detention Center Causes Serious Injury to a Female Dafa Practitioner
In November 2001, a female Dafa practitioner was kidnapped to Jiagedaqi
District's Detention Center. In order to protest the illegal persecution, she
refused to cooperate with the police. She did not tell her name and staged a
hunger strike. The guards at the detention center brutally force-fed her. Guard
Zhang Chen and policeman Wang Yongming inhumanly force-fed her six times within
half an hour. Wang Yongming put a handful of salt in the water each time and
then force-fed her. They also tied the practitioner up for a long period of
time. Now they have caused serious injury to practitioners' stomach and her
mucous membranes and also broke her left ring finger.

[Beijing] Vile Person Zhang Honglin Advocates Using Mental Hospitals to
Persecute Falun Gong Practitioners
Zhang Honglin is a researcher from the Qigong Research Laboratory of the
Chinese Medicine Research Institute.
His major Crimes:
He wrote articles advocating the use of mental hospitals to persecute Dafa
practitioners. Two articles were published in the People's Daily; also,
another one in the No.103 periodical of Information Collection; one in
the Beijing Daily and one on the No.5414 periodical of Internal
Reference.
Beginning September 10 to 29, 2001, in order to assist the local "610
Office" (an agency specifically
created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of
administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems)
to persecute Falun Gong practitioners, he went to nine districts/cities in
Fujian Province, for the fifth time. He is the earliest and most active
advocator for using mental hospitals to persecute practitioners. He actively
requested to take part in the persecution at the front line and claimed,
"I have been working in this field for a long period of time, and so I am
willing to participate in the work organized by the department in
charge."
He actively gave advice on methods of persecution; his published
