Wujiabao Forced Labor Camp in Fushun City, Liaoning Province Brutally Tortures Practitioners

Practitioner Sun Changli, female, 44 years old, is a farmer living in Hongmiaozi Township of Xinbin County. She was detained in Wujiabao Labor Camp for practicing Falun Gong. One night in late December 2001, around 7:00 PM, a few prison policemen dragged her out of her cell, brutally beating her, trying to force her give up her belief in Falun Dafa. They ordered her to curse Teacher Li and write a statement against Falun Gong. Sun refused to cooperate with their evil doings. She said that "Dafa is good! I'd rather die than give up Falun Dafa!" Then their group leader led them in torturing her with various brutal means. They forced her to hold a squatting position for a long time, and to hold 'piloting an airplane' position as well. They then viciously beat and kicked her. Such torture lasted from 7:00PM to 11:00 PM. She was beaten so badly that she went blind. Even so, those inhuman policemen still took pleasure in her very painful situation. They told the chief police officer, "We've beaten her blind." The chief officer felt a bit scared when he heard this news. But those police who tortured her said, "It doesn't matter. Only her eyes are blind. She is still alive. What do we have to fear?"

In the following days, instead of stopping their persecution of Sun, they cruelly tortured her further. In such an extreme and painful situation, Sun was unable to tolerate further torture and she yielded to them against her will, and indeed against her whole being. The chief officer and those policemen who joined in torturing her threatened her not to speak out about the fact that she had been beaten blind. They ordered her to lie to people, to say that her eyes were injured in a fall and if she told the truth to people, they would torture her to death.

Practitioner Chen Jirong, female, 39 years old, is living in Qinyuan County. She was detained in a labor camp in 2001. Because she firmly stuck to her belief in Falun Dafa, she often suffered brutal torture by the police working in the labor camp. She has been beaten half to death and her face was beaten to the point where it became swollen and black and blue with bruises. Later on she went on a hunger strike protesting their persecution and her detention. One day policewoman Zhen Yan and police officer Liu took her out of her cell. They tore her hair and slapped her face while simultaneously kicking her legs and lower body. When Chen was kicked to the ground, they ordered her to stand up and then continued kicking her. They also kept cursing her at the same time. Zhen Yan said, "Because you refused to be 'transformed,' the head of our labor camp is going to fire me. So I want to beat you to death since I'm losing my job." They tortured Chen in this way for a few hours until she lost consciousness with bruises covering her entire body. The police thought that she might die. To avoid her dying inside the labor camp, they sent Chen home. At present, Chen is unable to stand, walk or take care of herself. Her relatives feed her some milk every day in an effort to keep her alive. The brutal persecution and torture imposed on her has brought extremely deep pain and heavy burdens to this family.

The above incidents are solid evidence that Jiang's regime has cruelly persecuted innocent people in China.
