The Lady from Northeastern China Who Travels From Place to Place to Clarify the Truth

(Clearwisdom.net) Practitioner L (an alias) started practicing Falun Gong in 1998. When she first started to clarify the truth, she carried a big bag of materials with her and handed them out. However, as the persecution intensified, she decided to leave her home and business behind and go on a trip that was going to take her everywhere to clarify the truth about Falun Gong. Over the past two years, she has brought the truth everywhere she has gone. These are some of her stories.

On a train, an elderly lady asked her, "Do you cultivate Buddhahood? You look like a Buddha." Practitioner L happily said, "Yes." The elderly lady went on to tell her that she had tried two different religions, but she couldn't continue, not even for a day. After L told her about Falun Gong, the elderly lady said, "This is exactly what I am looking for."

One day, L climbed over hills to a remote village to promote Falun Dafa. As soon as she went into someone's yard, the owner came out and said to her, "You are the one I am waiting for." He said that he had had a dream the night before. In the dream, a person in white came to his house and a voice told him, "this person will bring you the Great Way and you must cherish it." It was summer and L was wearing white.

Once, after L finished talking to people around her on the train about Falun Gong, a person came over, shook her hand and said, "You have to be very careful. We all know that Falun Dafa is good."

L always says that many kind-hearted people in the rural areas tend to be deceived by the lies and she feels like crying whenever she sees them. She has tried very hard to reach them, to the extent that her shoes have been worn out from walking. She stops to ask for directions as well as water and at the same time clarifies the truth. Some kind-hearted people said, "This is the first time we heard about this. We used to believe what they said on TV. Thank you for telling us the truth."

When L arrived at a small village in Hunan Province, she talked to everybody she came across and sought out the local practitioners to share experiences and to encourage them to step forward to validate Dafa. When she heard about a temple where many people visit and burn incense, she decided to go there. The temple was located on a steep cliff. L went up the hill with Zhuan Falun in hand. The sun was scorching, and her skin was hot to the touch. When she was half way up, she had to stop. She recited "Climbing Mount Tai" from Master Li's Hongyin to herself, which helped her regain her energy. It was very crowded and people were worshipping just about anything, even a pile of dirt and rocks. L placed the book in front of her, crossed her legs in a full-lotus position, and burned some incense. As people gathered around her, she said, "This is the real Law passed to us by the real Buddha. Why don't you revere this instead of everything else?" Then L went on to talk to them about Falun Dafa. Later, she sought out the abbot and told him that Falun Dafa is the real Buddha Fa. When the abbot said that he was quite old, L told him that age does not matter in cultivation.

L went down to the foot of the hill, where everybody had to pass, and talked to everyone she met. Two lay Buddhists were interested in learning the exercises. While L continued to clarify the truth, her mind was full of the laws and principles, which had a very positive effect on truth-clarification.

In a small mountain village in Northeast China, two dozen fellow practitioners went astray due to confusion. L shared experiences with them and encouraged them to come back to be part of the Fa-rectification process to make up for the damage done. Soon afterwards, the practitioners issued their solemn declarations.

L is not educated and she doesn't write Chinese characters well. When Master Li's "Foretelling the Fa's Rectification of the Human World" was published, her nephew copied one for her. A few days later, the nephew had a car accident and when he was extricated from the car, people didn't think that he would survive the trip to the hospital. As soon as L heard this, she said, "He is going to be fine because he has done a great thing for Dafa. Good will meet with good and evil with meet with evil." It turned out that, by the second day, people heard that he had only suffered a scrape. To celebrate his surviving the accident, the nephew's family invited many people for dinner, including many villagers and the leaders of the village. L went and told everybody that it was Falun Dafa that saved him. The family of her nephew was very grateful to Dafa.

At this time, L heard someone talking about the Fu Yibin murder case in the courtyard [the Fu Yibin case is the tragic story of a man who murders his mother. Government propaganda twisted the truth to blame Falun Gong for the murders]. She went outside and asked, "Do you think I look like a murderer?" The man said "No." Then L told him, "I practice Falun Gong." She went on to tell them about the truth. A few dozen people were listening to her. They realized that they had been deceived.

L needs only three hours of sleep every day and she is not tired during the day. While other people are sleeping, she is either meditating or reading.

L is very strict with herself. Whenever she feels like slacking off, she will ask herself, "Why are you here? Is it for the comfort of your body? You care too much about your physical body. "

L often says, "I have only the Law and the Master in my heart, nothing else."

L was arrested once while she was sharing with fellow practitioners. When she was interrogated, she was asked to tell them everything within a few minutes. They threatened to torture her if she disobeyed. L said to herself, "If I remain unmoved, nothing can move me." A few minutes later, they gave up. She started to promote Dafa to them. In the end, the policeman said, "Don't tell the others that you were arrested for practicing Falun Gong. Just say that you were arrested because you didn't have identification." When she was transferred to the local Public Security Bureau, L identified herself as a Falun Gong practitioner. The police was surprised, "Why do you have to tell the truth? It says here that you are arrested for lack of appropriate identification."

During the ten days L was detained, she was always happy. She ate and slept as usual, believing that she would be out of there soon because she shouldn't be in there. On May 13, Master Li's birthday, she walked out of the detention center with righteous thoughts and wisdom.

She is still out there somewhere promoting Falun Dafa.
