Falun Dafa Saved My Whole Family

(Clearwisdom.net) I am 55 years old and live in the suburb of a Northeastern Chinese city. Before July 20, 1999, I had learned many Qigong practices, and my third eye had already been opened. However, I didn't practice Falun Gong. After July 20, 1999, I believed the propaganda spread through the TV stations, and thus had a negative attitude towards Falun Dafa.

I got to know Falun Dafa by accident. Since I am the head of our residential area, after July 20, 1999, I was arranged to monitor a Dafa practitioner who lived in my building. During this period, I had opportunities to contact him and through him I started to gain knowledge about Falun Dafa. I gradually changed from misunderstanding to understanding, from disbelieving to believing, and eventually I was completely convinced and became a Falun Dafa practitioner. I experienced a fundamental change in my life. I can say that it is Falun Dafa that has given me a new life.

During the period of time when I had to monitor that practitioner, I suffered many illnesses, especially serious diabetes. My health condition was very poor and my whole body felt tired. I remembered that the first time I contacted him he told me that Falun Dafa is good. After meeting with him 4 or 5 times, I was moved by his sincerity and read Zhuan Falun for the first time. After reading Zhuan Falun, I understood that it is a really good book. It covers everything from how to become a good person to how to cultivate into a Buddha, Tao, or God. It is a great book, and is a precious ladder to heaven.

In this way, I started to understand what Falun Gong is. I was able to see right through the cheap tricks played on the TV stations. I have been practicing Falun Gong ever since. It has been over two years since then and now I don't have any feeling of illness. My whole body is light and my third eye can see things more clearly.

During that period, my husband was bedridden after an operation to treat pancreatic cancer. I told his situation to the Falun Dafa practitioner that I had met through my "work." He talked with my husband in person and encouraged my husband to practice Falun Gong. Miracles appeared soon after my husband had started practicing Falun Gong. His health condition started improving. Now through studying the Fa and doing the exercises, he has become healthy. In his own words, "It is really good to practice Falun Dafa. Now I can walk, boil water, send my grandson off to school and pick him up from school. I can go upstairs and downstairs with ease. What a wonderful practice!"

My husband and I have benefited from Falun Dafa both physically and spiritually. Seeing the changes in us from practicing Falun Dafa, my son and my daughter-in-law started to have a good impression toward Dafa. Now they don't go against Falun Dafa and instead tell others that Dafa is good. Even though I started practicing Falun Dafa after the July 20^th event, I was not only able to have a correct view toward Dafa, but I also became a Falun Dafa practitioner. I have done many things to assist Teacher in his journey in this world. There are also some others who joined in to practice Falun Gong after seeing the changes in me.
