(Clearwisdom.net) During the Spring Festival Liu Jing, the head of the central government 610 Office [an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political or judicial systems,] held a meeting in the Nanhu Hotel in Changchun to draw up plans for persecuting Falun Gong. He also furiously criticized the inefficient work of Jilin Province, and issued the orders, "Eradicate (Falun Gong) completely" and "Shoot to kill (Falun Gong practitioners)." Since this happened, Changchun has been shrouded in terror.

All kind-hearted people around the world had become concerned about Changchun Falun Dafa practitioners, however the Changchun practitioners were not overcome with fear. Instead they created a world-shaking miracle. They broadcast a fifty-minute truth-clarifying videotape despite their oppressive environment. The evil lies were immediately exposed. The news quickly spread through the country and the world. Jiang viciously issued the secret order, "Kill them without mercy." So under high pressure from the evil head Jiang, the Changchun 610 Office, and the public security departments launched a large-scale search and arrest. Thousands of Falun Gong practitioners have been arrested, with deaths occurring daily. The frantic brutality of the evil and the fearlessness of the practitioners awoke more kind-heartedness from the people of the world.

It was reported recently that according to incomplete estimates, five thousand practitioners in the Changchun area have been arrested since March. All the labor camps in Changchun are full. Many practitioners have been forced to leave home to avoid further persecution. At night the staff from the Changchun Cable Company are still hiding and waiting (in order to capture practitioners). They usually sit in their vehicles and plainclothes police officers are nearby as well.

Inside government sources said that the higher authorities stipulated that they would rather arrest one hundred citizens by mistake instead of missing one Falun Gong practitioner. Changchun is shrouded in terror. Since large numbers of policemen were used to arrest Dafa practitioners who cultivate "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance," criminals took advantage of this opportunity to cause trouble. The security in Changchun has deteriorated continuously. At midnight on March 23, the residents at Quanan Square in Nanguan District were awakened by gunshots. A gun fired dozens of times. The residents do not have a sense of personal safety. One practitioner's friend, who went to visit someone in the daytime, knocked on the wrong door and was beaten severely by the people who were hiding inside. They had been waiting to arrest Dafa practitioners. Since then, the practitioner's friend has been unable to get justice for what happened to him.

A supervisor from the workplace told the author of this article, "Since I am too busy, I never read the book Zhuan Falun, so I did not know much about Falun Gong. Later I learned we had a very good comrade in our workplace who also practiced Falun Gong. He often talked to me about Falun Gong. From him, I learned something about Falun Gong. During this large-scale arrest, I transferred him to somewhere else. Public security had come several times and could not find him. Now they have begun to follow me."

A common resident said in disapproval, "Now the policemen use the excuse of arresting Falun Gong practitioners to break into residents' homes as they like, searching everywhere. They take away whatever they like. It has reached a point where the government forces residents to fight against [the government]. I admire Falun Gong practitioners. They distribute VCD's and flyers everywhere. They said the Fa would be rectified very soon. I am looking forward to the coming of that day."

Policeman: I don't want to talk about Falun Gong.

Author: Do you love our Motherland's ancient culture?

Policeman: Yes.

Author: Do you think "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance" is good or not?

Policeman: It is good.

Author: So do you think it's a crime to be a good person?

Policeman: Of course it is not a crime.

Author: When you arrest practitioners, doesn't your intuition tell you who are the good people, and who are the bad ones?

Policeman: Of course.

Author: So why do you still arrest practitioners who cultivate "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance"? When you pick up the cold handcuffs and handcuff those good people, and when you take those electric batons to shock them, is your heart never moved?

Policeman: No, no. We never used handcuffs nor did we use electric batons.

Author: When you are so eager to flatly deny it, it means you already know you are doing something wrong. Why do you still do it?

If I were deceived and used, and someone told me about the truth, how thankful would I be? How could I still kill practitioners?
