5. Having the attachment to the pursuit of comfort and the mentality of taking chances

For a long time, some practitioners have held the strong attachment of pursuing comfort and the mentality of taking chances. This attachment manifested in being unwilling to clarify the truth, or in only doing a little work. They thought that since they had been to Beijing to appeal and had made some truth-clarification materials, now they only needed to wait for Consummation, because everything would end soon. Some practitioners were not willing to actively do Dafa work. When other practitioners assigned them work, they would do it; otherwise, they would just wait and rely on others. They were not willing to do more. They thought that they had already done enough to reach Consummation. They were not willing to contribute more and they were afraid to face the evil. Some practitioners made truth-clarification materials every day; however, they did not truly cultivate themselves. They thought that as long as they did Dafa work, they would reach Consummation. They took how much work they had done as the standard for reaching Consummation. Some even thought that, because they were cultivating themselves and practicing the exercises, then even if they couldn't reach Consummation, they would not be ordinary human beings in the future. They wanted to try their luck in reaching Consummation. However, they didn't think about whether they would be able to reach Consummation with all these attachments. Do they really think that they will be able to survive and just be left to become ordinary people? Cultivation is serious and doesn't allow any faking or taking chances. No one can reach Consummation without reaching the standard.

6. Not truly understanding that we need to completely deny the Old Forces' arrangements

The evil forces have planted many degenerate notions in our minds in order to achieve their hideous goal of testing the Fa. They try to use those notions to manipulate us and to force us to take the path that they arranged. Some examples of those notions are: it is dangerous to do Dafa work, doing Dafa work will get us arrested and persecuted, worrying about what the evil will do to us, not having righteous thoughts when facing the evil, giving up hope and waiting to be arrested, and analyzing the situation using degenerated human logic.

Many fellow practitioners enlightened to this matter from within the Fa: we are solid Fa-particles. We are doing Fa-rectification and rectifying everything that is not righteous. Our determined righteous thoughts can defeat the evil. The evil has no right to test us. As long as our minds are with the Fa and all our thoughts and actions are within the Fa, the evil will not be able to hurt us. It is the Fa that dictates everything, rectifies everything and changes everything.

7. Not having a strong sense that we are one body

We are all particles of the Fa. We are one body. Anything that is directed at our fellow practitioners is aimed at us as well as at the Fa. We need to be responsible for all positive factors. During this battle between righteousness and evil, we need to strengthen the righteous side and eliminate the evil factors. So it is very important that we Fa-particles help and support one another. It is very critical that we cooperate with each other, complement each other, and improve together. The evil tries to stir up conflicts among us using our human attachments in order to undermine our overall strength and to separate and destroy us. So, no matter what we do, we should never forget the overall situation of the Fa-rectification . We should strengthen our awareness that we are one body. We should guard our xinxing among fellow practitioners. We must clearly remember that our thoughts, words, and behavior will influence others as well as the whole situation. Only this way can we successfully fulfill our historic responsibilities.

Making truth-clarifying materials is a key task. However, the practitioners who are in charge of it shouldn't do it in order to express themselves or show off. Thus, we must consider the situation as a whole. We must understand the needs of the Fa-rectification, the needs of ordinary people, and the needs of fellow practitioners. We shouldn't mix any personal understandings into the Fa, let alone stick to our own notions. It would be the biggest loss for the whole truth-clarification process if the contents of the truth-clarifying materials were not made very well. The practitioners that are responsible for handing out the materials should seriously handle this task as Fa-particles.

Practitioners should try to give feedback, comments, and suggestions to the practitioners who created the materials so that the materials can be made more in accordance with people's needs. We should clearly clarify the truth since the Fa-rectification requires us to do so. At the same time, we need to consider the ordinary people's receptiveness when we talk to them. In this way, we can make the truth-clarification materials exert as much influence as possible to save everyday people.

8. Not paying enough attention to the issue of security

The awareness of security is very necessary in prudent work. This is not an issue of whether or not we are afraid, but rather of whether we are being responsible to the Fa and to other practitioners. If we are careless, the evil will take advantage of us to escalate the persecution.

These points represent our understandings from recent experience-sharing. Please correct us if we said anything inappropriate. We hope that all Falun Dafa practitioners will follow Teacher's words and truly cultivate themselves, truly search inwardly, get rid of any impurities, take righteous paths, and do their best to save the sentient beings that they vowed to save a long time ago.
