Washington DC Practitioners Participate in Chinese New Year Celebration

The Chinese New Year celebration and parade organized by Washington DC Chinese Society took place on March 3. The Mayor of Washington DC and other government officials were invited to attend. The hosting committee informed practitioners that Falun Gong and Minghui School would be one of the main teams. They also expressed their appreciation of the volunteer effort practitioners have made to many activities.

Among the attending teams, the Falun Gong/Minghui School team was the most spectacular. Western practitioners and young practitioners demonstrated the five sets of exercises continuously on a beautifully decorated float. The parade procession and Dafa music brought Zhen-Shan-Ren to the Washington DC residents.

During the Chinese community's Spring party held in the evening, the president and vice president of the Chinese community openly praised practitioners' contribution to the Chinese community. Practitioners sang "Falun Dafa Hao" and wished everyone a bright future.
