[Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Force-Feeding Induced Stomach Perforation of Female Dafa
Practitioner Luu Xiuyun, Whose Life is in Extreme Danger After Dafa practitioner Ms. Chen Qiulan was tortured to death in Daqing City's Detention Center,
another practitioner, Ms. Luu Xiuyun was abused and brutally force-fed there. Ms. Luu is in extreme
danger of losing her life. On January 13, 2002, after she had attended a Dafa experience sharing meeting, Ms. Luu Xiuyun was
kidnapped and put into Daqing City's Detention Center. Since she was imprisoned she had launched a
hunger strike for protest. On January 22, after being force-fed, she felt an extreme pain in her
chest and abdomen; she suffered for a whole day. In the morning of January 23 she was found to have
no pulse and her blood pressure could not be detected. Even though she was in critical situation, a
doctor named Sun in the detention center still said, "Change nothing. Keep on force-feeding
her." Shortly after that she was in shock. After artificial respiration she was sent to Daqing
City's People's Hospital for emergency medical treatment. At 7:00 p.m. on January 23, stool was
found in her abdominal cavity during an exploratory medical procedure. Obviously, the brutal
force-feeding caused stomach perforation. Some person in the hospital revealed that the officials in
the detention center attempted to shirk their responsibilities, claiming the injury Ms. Luu had
sustained was due to the hunger strike. During the postoperative recovery, from February 5, she was in a coma for several days. On
February 22, 2002 she was taken home. She is currently barely conscious. In addition, her hands and
head are swollen. Her life is in extreme danger. Her family has spent more than 90,000 Yuan [500

Practitioners in a Brainwashing Class During the last few days, officials from Changping District's "610 Office" continued
holding illegal brainwashing classes. (The "610 Office" is an agency specifically
created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party
and all other political and judiciary systems). Before the Spring Festival, the "610 Office" had already held illegal brainwashing
classes. Mr. Yang Binghai's wife, working for the Fengshan Mine, was ensnared into attending a
brainwashing class. Mr. Yang went to the district government to claim his wife, but the government
representatives not only ignored him but also asked policemen from Changping District's Police
Department to detain Mr. Yang for two days and one night, without any due process of law. Policemen
did not inform his family and even didn't give him any food during the two days. Then he was sent to
the brainwashing class, too. The couple was illegally detained and isolated from the outside. They
were released just two days before the Spring Festival. Their son fell ill and had to have surgery
during the Spring Festival. He had worried about his parents' safety and there was nobody who took
care of him for a long time. Just a few days before, China's dictator shamelessly said to the American president and to
reporters from all over the world that "all detainees had been imprisoned for violating the
law." Then, which portion of the law did Yang Binghai and his wife violate? For what infraction
were they deprived of their personal freedom for so many days? Jiang lied. We hope all kind-hearted

Ransack His Home At around 10 p.m. on February 14, 2002, frantic knocking on the door disturbed the peaceful night
at Mr. Zhao Yu'an's home. While Mr. Zhao opened the door, over 20 people rushed in and started
ransacking Mr. Zhao's home. After messing up the room, they took away a VCD player, a country music
videotape and a maintenance book. They forcibly kidnapped Mr. Zhao, and his wife was forced to go
into hiding. On the second day they came to Mr. Zhao's home again and took away the 21-inch color television
set and even the outdoor antenna. They messed up his home again and took several photographs.
Neighbors were talking about the incident. It is well known that Mr. Zhao Yu'an is a good person. He
was always ready to help whoever had troubles. Those people who mistreated Mr. Zhao in this way are

began to search every home in the Yongtaiguang residential district of Acheng City with the excuse

from the Xiqin Town Government Extort Money from Dafa Practitioners to Line Their Own Pockets Forty-year-old Mr. Wang Xingwang and his 37-year-old wife Jia Xiujuan were released after having
been illegally detained for 13 days at Shuangcheng City's Detention Center for going to clarify the
truth about Dafa in Beijing. Later, on the excuse of "having a talk" at the division,
several lawless officials tricked Ms. Jia to the fifth floor of Qiulin Company's building and
illegally detained her for two months. When Ms. Jia was detained and Mr. Wang was forced to live in
exile, their young son was left at home alone without care. Several thugs, Wang Zhenmin, Luu Jingzhi,
Guan Fengtong, Ren Wanjin, Zhao Xinzhi and Chou Shuxia sold all the family's stored corn and several
bags of yellow beans at Mr. Wang's home for 8,000 Yuan. The excuse they used was that the money was
to be used for "travel expenses" and to escort Mr. Wang and his wife back from Beijing. In
fact, Mr. Wang came back by himself after having been detained several days at Yanqing County in
Beijing. Ms. Jia only spent 100 Yuan when she came back. When Ms. Jia came back from Qiulin
Company's building, Liu Yuhua and Wang Zhenmin from Shuangcheng Township extorted 400 Yuan from her.
In January 2000, Wang Xingwang went to appeal for Falun Gong in Beijing and then was illegally
detained 58 days at Shuangcheng City's Detention Center. Mr. Wang was bailed out after Zhang Guofu
and Liu Chunyang from Shuangcheng City's "610 Office" extorted 5,000 Yuan from him as
"recognizance" and 566 Yuan for "accommodation expenses." Ms. Zhao Yankun went to Shuangcheng City to buy clothes for her children on December 30, 2000.
Guan Xuwu, director of the village party committee (his phone number: 011-86-451-3218888), and Wen
Defu, a village official, arrested her on the bus to Shuangcheng City. They forcibly took her to the
police office, beat and kicked her while verbally abusing her. Ms. Zhao's nose was beaten to
bleeding. Even though Ms. Zhao led a very difficult life, they still confiscated her 260 Yuan which
was to buy her children's clothes. After Ms. Zhao's husband came back home and heard she was
detained in the police office, he went to the police office in heavy snow. Zhang Yunlong told him to
hand over 1,000 Yuan to get her back; otherwise, she would not be released. He gave them 400 Yuan.
Zhang Yunlong did not release her and asked Ms. Zhao's husband to pay more. On the second day, her
husband had no choice and turned in another 300 Yuan. On January 4, 2001, Ms. Zhao was released. On January 20, 2001, Wang Jiwen and Wu Zhongge from the Xiqin Town government entrapped Ms. Zhao
Yankun in a brainwashing class and detained her for a month. Afterwards, she was released after
having 500 Yuan taken from her. These detentions brought severe mental tribulations to Ms. Zhao and
her family. [China] A CD Changes People's Opinions of Dafa and the Relatives Help Clarify the Truth I have a cousin living in the countryside. Like many everyday people, he was deceived by the
Chinese dictator's propaganda and thought Dafa was bad. Before the Spring Festival, I showed him the truth-clarifying CD. He realized that the

friends and relatives. On Chinese New Year's Eve, he and I went out distributing the
truth-clarifying materials. On the third day of the Spring Festival, we distributed Dafa
truth-clarifying materials the whole night and walked over 30 miles, through eight villages. On the
night of the 14th day of the Spring Festival we distributed the flyers for that whole
night, too. [China] With his Righteous Thoughts, A Little Practitioner Saved Several Hundred People's Minds
from Being Poisoned Against Dafa There is a little practitioner who had obtained Dafa five to six years ago. Since he learned Dafa,
he has always been strict with himself and he is always at the top among his peers. He also has high
moral standards and a good reputation among teachers and classmates. One day, in a moral education class, the teacher slandered Dafa, quoting the propaganda spread by
Jiang's regime when talking about the subject of "Falun Gong." The little practitioner
immediately stood up, and loudly and sternly told the teacher, "Falun Dafa is the righteous Fa.
Dafa teaches people to be good people, which is by no means wrong. Dafa practitioners all over the
world are good people. You shouldn't slander our Dafa." The teacher was stunned and hurriedly
said, "Sit down please." All the classmates spontaneously gave the little practitioner
thumbs-up. After the class, the classmates said to the little practitioner, "You are great, you are
super, Falun Gong is really great!" The little practitioner thus took the opportunity to
clarify the truth to his classmates. The teacher didn't know how to handle the issue and raised this
question in a teacher's affairs meeting. After thoughtful consideration, the teaching affairs
committee decided not to mention "Falun Gong" any more in class. Thus, the little
practitioner prevented several hundred people in this primary school from being poisoned by the
Jiang regime. [Mishan City, Heilongjiang Province] Relentless Persecution of Dafa Practitioners Jiang Honglu
and Shao Ying The police authorities from Mishan City have been relentlessly persecuting Dafa practitioners for
a long time. Recently, the persecution has escalated to an unprecedented level. On the first day of
the Spring Festival they wounded Dafa practitioner Mr. Jiang Honglu by shooting him. After the
shooting they punched and kicked the practitioner so hard that he was covered with bruises all over
his body, and his face was a mixture of blood and flesh. Four hours after he was seriously injured
he was sent to the No.1 Detention Center. The evildoers failed to pay for the practitioner's
medication and treatment fees. So far, they have not allowed his family members to visit him. Dafa practitioner Ms. Shao Ying, an employee of the Mishan City Farm Bureau who had a narrow
escape from the killings in Wanjia Forced Labor Camp was released after being detained nearly an
additional one year after her term had expired. Her family members were ordered to monitor her.
Later on it was said that officials in the Wanjia Forced Labor Camp would frequently bring her back
to the camp in order to keep her quiet. Apparently, personnel from the labor camp were afraid of
their crimes being exposed. Under this situation, Ms. Shao Ying was forced to leave home and live in
exile. Finding this out, local officials became so furious that they suspended the salary of Mr. Gu
Zhengrong, Ms. Shao Ying's husband, and thus cut off the only source of income for this family of
three. The couple works for the same unit. They even unreasonably cursed him for not watching over
Ms. Shao Ying. We appeal to all the kind-hearted people in the world to collectively resist this evil
