(Clearwisdom.net) I am Axel Duval, and I am 23 years old. I am a practitioner from Paris. I am extremely happy that I can write about and share my cultivation experience with everyone during this great Fa Rectification period.

Two years ago I started practicing Falun Dafa genuinely. During that time, I strived to eliminate all attachments, in the manner of a genuine practitioner. That was also the greatest hardship for me. I had done a lot of bad things when I was younger, and had created a lot of karma. The pain from the mental battles that the mind and body fought from thought karma was insignificant, when compared to the greatness of Dafa, which is deeply rooted in my heart, and even in my most microscopic levels of existence. Slowly, through studying the Fa, and in everyday cultivation, this karma was gradually eliminated. Bit by bit, tribulations were being resolved. When I started to become enlightened through the Fa, the environment also improved.

In the Fa, the Teacher told us to look within ourselves when we face tribulations, and not blame things on anyone else. This is the manifestation of great Compassion; I would love to cultivate such a compassionate heart. We should treat others with a compassionate heart, help others when they need it, and reveal the light of Dafa that Teacher has taught us.

During the clarification of truth to the precious Chinese people, our compassionate hearts can melt all prejudices, misunderstandings, barriers, and touch peoples' hearts. I feel genuinely joyful when they accept the truth, causing the lies and wrongful accusations to become bankrupt. Our compassionate hearts can melt any prejudice, misunderstanding and blockade, and touch peoples' heart. It's our practitioners' righteous thoughts that slowly eliminate the dark substance that has obstructed Fa-Rectification. The same righteous thoughts are reflected in our daily activities. Today, since the cultivation of each of our individual selves is not just about our personal cultivation, we have to exhibit Dafa's purity to the world's people, and reveal the brutality and shamefulness of the persecution against Dafa practitioners. We are in an immense process, that our Teacher has called the promoting of Fa, and cultivation during Fa-rectification. Each person will determine his own future, in this process.

In all Fa promoting opportunities, whether it's in the subway, in the colleges, or at appeal sites, we eliminate our own attachments, as we rectify everything that's not right, from the standpoint of Dafa. Through clarifying the truth, sentient beings are being saved. This is what I understand to be the objective of Dafa practitioners during the Fa-rectification period.

In my personal Fa-promoting experiences, I often had a lot of attachments and emotional sentiments that prevented me from finding an ideal way to clarify the truth. I was afraid that people wouldn't understand what I was doing, or I was afraid of their negative reactions, so I often ended up arguing with them, and couldn't physically manifest the compassion and peacefulness of the Buddha Law. I truly understood the value of the Buddha Law, when I realized that one can't force it upon another, but must value it from within, and not worry about other peoples' points of view and reactions. Then the power and peacefulness of Fa could manifest through me.

I take Chinese lessons in a college in Paris. On January 23, after the semester's last session, the whole class went to a coffee shop with the teacher, and chatted. There were youngsters and old people in our class. There were Parisians like me, as well people from Germany and the Czech Republic, and people that came from other countries. There were Chinese from Taiwan, and there were Chinese from Mainland China. This was a great opportunity that Dafa had created, to clarify the truth to them. They had all heard of Falun Gong, but I felt that not everyone knew exactly what Falun Gong was. I used simple and appropriate terminologies, and with logic and good reasoning, I explained the principles of Falun Gong and the persecution of Falun Gong to them. I didn't expect to get anything from them, but I hoped that they could understand that Falun Dafa is good. I didn't want to force anything upon them. The discussion was friendly. I answered their questions, and listened to their reactions calmly. When they heard my replies, they received them well. I gave them the truth materials, and both the westerners and Chinese were very willing to accept them, and expressed their understanding. Seeing these people submerged in the current of Dafa made me feel genuinely satisfied. It's these kinds of experiences that encouraged me to participate more in the Fa-rectification, do things better, not forget the Teacher's teachings, view the Fa as the Teacher, and promote Dafa.

In conclusion, I want to thank all those that support Dafa within their hearts, whether they are practitioners or not. I want to thank those that helped people to better comprehend the Law of the Universe, and I thank those who helped further promote "Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance" in this world.

Thanks to our venerable Teacher, and thanks to all. Dafa will further reveal miracles in our hearts: let's advance in cultivation together.
