Falun Gong Practitioners Clarify the Truth During the Indonesia Falun Dafa Experience Sharing Conference; Police Praise Practitioners' Peaceful Activities (Photo)

(Ckearwisdom.net) On March 3, 2002, over 600 practitioners attended the Indonesia Falun Dafa Experience Sharing Conference from around the world and clarified the truth to the Indonesian people. They distributed over 10,000 truth-clarifying materials to both Indonesians and Chinese residing there.

After the first sending forth righteous thoughts at 4 a.m., practitioners went to the five areas in Jakarta, including the Chinese Community, Indonesia National Monument and the area near the biggest stadium in Indonesia, to practice the exercises and distribute truth-clarifying materials. As it happened, over 8,000 Chinese were holding activities in the Chinatown of Jakarta. Practitioners knew this was Teacher's arrangement and used this opportunity to clarify the truth to the Chinese people.

Other practitioners went to Bundaran Hotel, the biggest Fountain in Jakarta, to send forth righteous thoughts and practice the Dafa exercises. Practitioners from different countries wore yellow clothing, held four three-meter wide Dafa banners printed in Chinese and Indonesian, and walked through the busy streets of Indonesia for an hour and forty minutes. It became the most beautiful scene in Indonesia that morning. Practitioners distributed truth-clarifying materials to the passersby and vehicles as they walked. People eagerly took them and read; even the vendors on the way stopped their business and read. The whole atmosphere was very warm.

The practitioners' compassion touched the Indonesian people. Police smiled at us and watched us admiringly. The Indonesia Police Bureau assigned a special team to direct the traffic at intersections for us and happily took photos with practitioners and accepted the truth-clarifying materials.

Before practitioners went back to their hotels, an official from the Indonesia Police Bureau shook hands with a few coordinators of the Indonesian Falun Dafa Association and said, "Thank you! Your activities were very orderly!" Through these activities, the Indonesian police had seen practitioners' kindness, peace and rationality, which was totally opposite to the Chinese government's propaganda. The Indonesian people were very impressed by practitioners' unique and noble character. All social circles positively reported this event.

The next day, a practitioner who is also a doctor said that many of her patients excitedly told her in broken Chinese, "Falun Dafa, yellow clothing, all over the streets." The negative attitudes towards Dafa which they had previously held because of the Chinese Government's propaganda were all changed.
