Falun Dafa Practitioners in Anlu City, Hubei Province, Encounter More Kidnapping and Beating

(Clearwisdom.net) In the beginning of March, the "610 office" [an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems] of Anlu City, Hubei Province, kidnapped some Dafa practitioners in this city. Practitioners were first tortured and beaten up in the police department. Sometimes they were cuffed and hung up for several days, [with both hands cuffed, both feet off or only toes touching the ground, one is hung onto a basketball rim or the beam of a house with handcuffs. The hands and arms soon become paresthetic and numb], even elderly ladies in their 60's. Many practitioners were tortured almost to death, and then were sent to detention centers to be detained without hope of release.

The detained practitioners include:

Lei Daying, over 50-years-old, from Huguo Village of Anlu City. Her husband, who did not practice Falun Gong, was also detained at the same time.

Cheng Ping, female, from Huguo Village.

Chen Yongjun, male, over 30-years-old, from Youshui Town.

Luo Chuanqing, male, over 30-years-old, from Huguo Village. His wife, Jin Pingli (Falun Dafa practitioner) was sent to forced labor "re-education" in the winter of 2001 for no reason. Now their 8-year-old child is alone without care.

Chen Guifang, female, over 20-years-old, from Zhaopeng Town.

Yu Po, over 60-years-old, from Anmian Textile Factory.

Yan Po, over 60-years-old, from a theatrical institute. [A place where traditional Chinese opera is performed and the actors and actress are trained]

Wang Guihua, female, over 30-years-old, from Lidian Town.

Zhang Jianying, female, over 60-years-old, from Huguo Village.

Pan Juying, female, over 30-years-old, from Huguo Village, was arrested at midnight by the police for no reason. When she was sent back the next day, a closed wound with 18 stitches on her head could be seen, her whole face was covered with blood, and she seemed near death.

Dai Yaming, male, 32 years old, was kidnapped. Zhou Po, a female practitioner over 60- years-old from Suzhou City, who was visiting him was also kidnapped at the same time. It was said that Dai Yaming was not held in the city detention center, and to this day his whereabouts are still unknown.

We sternly warn the members of the "610 office" of Anlu City: Immediately stop your criminal deeds, and unconditionally release all Falun Dafa practitioners. Otherwise, there will be more Dafa practitioners going to Tiananmen Square to peacefully appeal for Falun Dafa. All practitioners from Anlu City are closely watching your every action.
