Residents of Goslar City in Germany Resented Jiang Zemin's Visit

(Clearwisdom.net) Jiang Zemin stayed in Germany for five days. During his visit the residents of Goslar wondered about his not wanting to see anyone wearing yellow- colored clothing. Since Jiang came to this ancient German city on April 12^th, the citizens were shocked to find that the quiet of their city was gone. Police surrounded the whole city and plain-clothes policemen were everywhere setting up all kinds of inspection stations throughout the area.

As soon as the police spotted anyone who was wearing yellow-colored clothing, they stopped him immediately, checking his ID and detaining him. The residents passing by were very confused when they saw more and more Dafa practitioners in yellow detained. They asked the police whether these practitioners had done anything wrong. The police did not have any answer other than it was the instructions from higher levels that no one in yellow clothing was allowed here. Practitioners told the citizens that they were Falun Gong practitioners and Jiang is afraid of seeing the words on our shirts "Truthfulness, Benevolence, Forbearance" and "Falun Dafa is good," that is why we were mistreated here.

The citizens who heard about this all shook their heads and said it was ridiculous. A lady saw three cooks coming out of a restaurant to ask what was going on and called "All three of you go into hiding! The color yellow is not allowed here!" Everyone started laughing because the three cooks were wearing yellow cooking aprons.

The public opinion showed up in local newspapers the next day: Goslar did not welcome Jiang Zemin. Any person who infringed upon their democracy and freedom was not welcome there. Instead, many people were showing their sympathy for Falun Gong.
