Police Ignore Real Criminals to Arrest Falun Gong Practitioners; Social Order in Changchun City Deteriorates

(Clearwisdom.net) Since March 6, 2002, more than one hundred Falun Gong practitioners in Changchun City, Jilin Province, have been abducted into the brainwashing class at "Xinglong Agriculture College at Changchun City." The local police department issued an order to arrest all Falun Gong practitioners on their profiled name list. Some police stations assigned each police officer to arrest a Falun Gong practitioner. Many practitioners were forced to leave their homes. Members of the residential committee at Dehui City visited Falun Gong practitioners' homes one by one and immediately arrested any practitioners who answered affirmatively when asked if they would continue to practice Falun Gong.

Recently, Jiang has become even more frightened and cannot control his jealousy and hatred toward Falun Gong. He continues to issue illegal orders, such as: If similar broadcasting events via tapping into cable networks occur again, all the officers in Jilin Province and Changchun City will be dismissed from their jobs right away. Currently, every local police officer is given some targeted quota to arrest Falun Gong practitioners, and will be discharged if he does not reach the target. According to some police, higher level authorities have sent orders to ignore the real crimes such as cases of killing and arson, and concentrate instead on arresting Falun Gong practitioners. Because of the Jiang regime's evil measures and actions, the social order in Changchun City has seriously deteriorated. The crimes of killing and raping keep happening and the general public is experiencing great suffering and conflicts.

On March 8 and 9, the malicious police of the Shuangyang District of Changchun City were fanatically arresting Falun Gong practitioners on a large scale. With the profiled name list they had from before, they went directly to practitioners' homes and asked practitioners if they would continue to practice Falun Gong or not, and then forced them to write a "Letter to Break from Falun Gong." Practitioners, please "look at things with righteous thoughts" while encountering demonic tribulations. The police stations persecuting Falun Gong practitioners are very bad, and the most serious are the ones at Tongyang Road (431-4223129, ext. 6547), Qijia Township, Luxiang Town, Tuding.
