(Clearwisdom.net) Though many people are still deceived by the lies of the Chinese
government propaganda and have misunderstandings about Dafa, from my experience of dealing with some
police officers, I believe that many of them think it is wrong to persecute Falun Gong. Here are
some examples.
- The policeman who escorted me from Beijing said, "It is my job to escort you back from
Beijing, and I am not persecuting you at all. Please tell your Master that I am not an evil
person."
- On the train escorting me back from Beijing, the police officers talking to each other said,
"None of us can win the arguments with Falun Gong practitioner. What they say sounds reasonable
to me."
- In the detention center, when I ignored the questions from a policeman, he was really angry and
said, "I know you Falun Gong practitioners are all good people, but you should not assume all
policemen are bad people."
- In the labor camp, a policeman said, "I know you Falun Gong practitioners are all good
people and should not stay in this place. This is the place for bad guys like thieves." When we
asked him why we are detained here, he said that was the instruction "from above."
- A police officer was giving us a lecture on the law and said the laws are only effective when
all the people acknowledge them. When he saw us not paying attention, he said, "The laws are
legislated by the government, and it is not unusual that the government's authority is higher than
the laws--it is just a little more severe in China compared to the other countries..."
- A policeman who had a side business at home once said, "I trust you Falun Gong
practitioners. I don't need a security deposit if I do business with you." Another criminal
inmate asked, "Can you waive the security deposit for me too?" The policeman answered
immediately, "You? I don't trust you."
- A policeman told a Dafa practitioner, "I really don't like it when I have to come to your
home. I feel like I am the one who did the wrong deed. Even a dog is more free than I am."
The above examples are all from my personal experience. Police officers are the main forces
persecuting Falun Dafa under the Jiang regime, and though often more deceived than other people,
even they feel that it is not right to persecute Dafa.
