More Information About the Murder of Zhang Chuansheng, Associate Professor of Chengdu University, Sichuan Province

(Clearwisdom.net) One day a policeman from Simaqiao Police Station, Chengdu City, came to visit Professor Zhang. He told Professor Zhang that he was a Falun Dafa practitioner, even though he was not. "I was a soldier before. I practiced Falun Gong when I was in the army. Many officers in the army also practice Falun Gong. After I became a civilian, the worst thing happened to me. I wasn't able to find fellow practitioners to share experiences with and I couldn't find Dafa materials." This is what the policeman told the professor. Professor Zhang believed him and gave him a copy of a Falun Dafa VCD. The policeman then arrested Professor Zhang for "distributing" Dafa materials.

After Professor Zhang died, his family members wanted to see his body. They were allowed to see his head only and prohibited from seeing the rest of his body. They were also not allowed to view his arms and legs. The family members were positive that the reason was Professor Zhang's chest, arms and legs had been severely battered. Those parts were probably too frightening to see.

Once the news of Professor Zhang's death became public, the police tightened the surveillance on the residential building that Zhang had lived in. Recently, plain-clothes policemen have been lurking around the building. In addition, an elderly couple that used to monitor the bicycle parking lot is also helping to watch the building.
