Heilongjiang Province Shuangcheng City "610 Office" Relentlessly Persecutes Falun Dafa Practitioners

(Clearwisdom.net) Since July 20, 1999, Shuangcheng City Party Secretary Zhu Qingwen, Deputy Party Secretary Wang Shuqing, "610 Office" (An agency specifically created to persecute Falun gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems) director Jiang Hongwei, Deputy Chief of Police Department Zhang Guofu and others have been cruelly torturing Falun Dafa practitioners. Practitioners Zhou Zhichang, Zhang Shengfan, and Wang Jinguo were tortured to death one after another. Through the bloody suppression, the lawless ruffians, including Zhu Qingwen, were not able to achieve their evil purpose. Instead they spurred thousands of Falun Dafa practitioners to go to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa and clarify the truth about the persecution against Dafa. At one time the prison cells were filled to maximum capacity. A prison cell of only 12 square meters [about 130 square feet] would be made to accommodate as many as 35 people. Over 80 Dafa practitioners were illegally sentenced to forced labor "re-education." In the evil environment, facing the tribulation of life and death, Dafa practitioners exhibited the spirit of selflessness and courage.

Between December 2001 and the Chinese New Year of 2002 [around February 2002], under the instructions of the "610 Office," over 50 special task police officers were secretly deployed from Harbin City to help in their ever more relentless persecution against Dafa practitioners. On December 30, 2001, seven practitioners including Guo Fenglan, Guo's son and daughter-in-law from north of the railway station were illegally taken away. On the evening of January 14, Li Chao, his wife and two other practitioners had just got into their car and were talking; however, they were illegally arrested by the criminal policemen who had been tailing them. The four practitioners exclaimed loudly, "Falun Dafa is good," "Restore the reputation of our Teacher," "Restore the reputation of Falun Dafa," etc. The cruel police officers grabbed their hair and violently slammed their heads against the road. Many passers-by witnessed this cruel scene. On January 20, Dafa practitioner and driver Zang Dianguo, who ran his own transportation business, was arrested by several policemen at the parking lot. One of the vicious policemen's fingers broke on the spot upon touching Zang Dianguo's body; thus he received immediate retribution. In addition, a gang of ruffians headed by Zhang Guofu broke into the house of Zang Dianguo by smashing the windows. They climbed in through the broken windows and illegally ransacked the place. Then they illegally searched the house of his aged mother. When Zang's family members tried to stop them, the criminal policemen threatened that they would arrest the family members in the name of "causing obstruction to public affairs." Failing to find the things they wanted in either house, in the end they illegally confiscated the vehicle that Zang Dianguo used to make a living to support the whole family. The greedy policemen also robbed him of his leather jacket and cell phone.

On February 10, 2002, one day before the Chinese New Year, the policemen were instructed to arrest people on the name list drawn up by the "610 Office" using all means. The policemen were not allowed to ask why, or who these people were or why they were to be arrested. Dafa practitioner Fu Li was tortured in Wanjia Forced Labour Camp until her whole body was filled with scabies. Only a few days after she was released, she was suddenly arrested again on the night of February 10. Policemen with a conscience said privately that it was stipulated that people in such a terrible physical state as Fu Li should not be required to go to jail. Dafa practitioner Zheng Shining from Wujia Town was also arrested on the same night even though he was 62 years old. Practitioners Li Lei and He Lirong were also arrested; Li Lei was only 16 years old. Dafa practitioners Fu Daqing and his wife were preparing to celebrate the Chinese New Year with their aged parents and children but were suddenly arrested by the cruel police officers. Fu Daqing's feet and toes were beaten and injured so that he could only walk on his heels. Within the whole city and in all the villages and towns, on the same day at the same time, they arrested so many people; their only excuse was to prevent Falun Dafa practitioners from going to Beijing to appeal for Dafa. I once asked a policeman, why they wouldn't try to capture so many murderers that were escaping? He replied that the country did not have the funds for it. But they do not spare any manpower, resources or funds when it comes to torturing Falun Dafa practitioners who do not retaliate when hit and do not answer back when verbally abused. We appeal to the international community and kind-hearted people to help us to stop the cruel and violent deeds of Jiang's terrorist regime against Falun Dafa practitioners.
